Midnight Books

Last night the amazing @jacksonmarket was full for “The American Question” with Rasul Miller and Cyrus McGoldrick, another incredible @islamnrev offering.

Thank you SO MUCH to our incredible hosts @jacksonmarket

Empire doesn’t end at the water’s edge and neither does the fight against it! Rasul and Cyrus both drew from international struggle and the Black Radical tradition for an incredible talk, one of the best.

These events are truly special and part of it is the kids! No other events have the kids almost outnumbering adults. As Brother Cyrus said “a masjid where you don’t hear the children laughing is one where you fear for the next generation.”

Thank you to Rasul, Cyrus, and of course @islamnrev for bringing it, and to everyone who came through. As stated yesterday @islamnrev is such a big part of midnight and will be even bigger at the new shop! And inshallah they’ll finally answer one of Kareem’s questions.
