Book Spotlight 🎄📚 It’s 1st November, which means the festive season can officially begin, and of course, so can the festive reading! I’m taking part in a readalong for The Secret Santa Setup, and I couldn’t be more excited. Thanks to @instabooktours & @harper360uk This unique countdown to Christmas read features 25 sealed chapters, with one to open each day as Christmas approaches 🎁 Packed with some of my favourite tropes, including enemies to lovers, forced proximity, and a slow burn romance, it sounds like the perfect festive read. Sixteen year old Amanda Mathers has big plans for December, working at the Matcha Do About Coffee pop up at the Post Christmas Tree Farm, convincing her parents to let her travel abroad in the summer, and organising the perfect Secret Santa with her friends. What she doesn’t plan for is Luke Post. He might look good carrying Christmas trees, but he’s definitely giving Amanda the cold shoulder. When she draws his name for Secret Santa, she’s completely stumped on what to get him. As the two spend more time together, though, getting to know one another might turn out to be the greatest gift of all. I’ve read Chapter 1 this morning and I’m already intrigued. And can we take a moment to appreciate the stunning illustrations throughout the book? Shares of Reliance Industries Limited surged 8 per cent after the company became the first Indian company to post a half-yearly profit of more than ₹50,000 crore, lifting its market capitalisation above ₹17 lakh crore. The company reported consolidated profit of ₹52,746 crore for the first half of FY27, a record on a recurring basis. The milestone followed a strong September quarter, in which revenue rose to a record ₹3.62 lakh crore, the highest ever for a second quarter, and profit climbed about 34 per cent from a year earlier. The oil-to-chemicals business was a key driver of the performance, delivering strong growth across the quarter. Reliance Retail Ventures also contributed, reporting a 6.4 per cent rise in gross revenue to ₹91,716 crore. During the quarter, Reliance invested ₹38,153 crore in capital expenditure, mainly on oil-to-chemicals and new energy projects and on expanding its consumer businesses. Reliance is among India’s most valuable listed companies, and its quarterly results are closely watched by the market. Investors responded positively to the numbers, pushing the stock sharply higher and adding substantially to the company’s market value. The results also underline the strength of its diversified business, which spans energy, retail, telecom and digital services.

Eyes have a way of revealing what words try to hide.
