DJ Kawon (@kawon_j_productions) showcases his latest collaborative release, “The Faculty,” with Brooklyn emcee Notes EightyTwo (@notes8ighty2wo_), available now on limited edition cassette, CD, and digital download through Mad Good Records (@madgoodrecords)!

Following their recent collaborations on DJ Kawon’s “BoomBap Alumni” album, the Brooklyn emcee and Queens producer have joined forces for a full-length project featuring 16 tracks of original music, with guest appearances by Travisty the Lazy Emcee and Len-Dor.

“The Faculty” delivers a strong combination of sharp lyricism, soulful production, and classic boom bap sounds, highlighting the chemistry between these two talented artists.

The cassette edition features the vocal tracks on the A-side and the instrumentals on the B-side, giving listeners the opportunity to experience DJ Kawon’s production on its own.
