Does taking a GLP hurt?

If you’ve ever wondered this… You’re not alone! It’s one of the top questions people have!

Almost every single week I have to double check that my d0se even went in. I hardly ever feel it in my stomach or my thigh. But this week I wanted to try something different.

I’m up on the scale, and I’ve gotten a bit bored of the other locations. Some people find that different locations have different results for them and how they feel the med throughout the week. So I’m trying the back of the arm…

Please let me know how the arm treated you if you’ve ever done this location? Did it work or not?!

I get this in my thigh, but it works so much better than my stomach! Never done the arm though.

Did my arm Friday and was so sick Fri and sat night. Never normally have side effects. No clue if that had anything to do with it. But won’t try it again

I love the arm but....I have a big batwing that hangs and I use a hair clip and it never hurts. Only place I don't get an itchy welt. I do alternate between arm and left thigh.

I do it in the top of my thigh. I frequently am afraid it was defective because I don’t feel it at all. Never thought of arm!

It hurts but just for a second!! I swear going from arm to belly every few weeks kickstarts things for me.

Have gotten it in my arm for a year and love it and the results. It’s never hurt me once, but I also have someone give it to me. So I think that makes a difference.

It burns all the time in my arm. Never in the stomach or legs.

I get allergy injections in my arm and they tend to sting; I’ll pass on injecting myself in the arm

Ouch! I now stick to my stomach after my thigh started stinging like that and had a wicked bruise. I was so sad the thigh was always good till 2 years in. Gulp! 2 years can’t even believe it. How is the 12.5 going?

I get asked often, “How did you get into running?”. The answer isn’t short or simple.

It’s been different people in my life all encouraging me to try it, no matter my age/size. It’s been a development since middle school, and something that clears my mind.

Now, it’s more for the endorphin high and health benefits. But mentally I notice a difference when I’m not moving my body. Running has become something that has constantly been an accessible way to move. To walk out the door and start. Sometimes that looked like walk running, sometimes that looked like a cry in the rain.

I know moving my body is a privilege and I don’t take that for granted.

Do you ever overthink if you should go up or down in your G L P d0se? 🙋‍♀️

That was me too! However, I have started to tell myself that this is an ongoing health journey, and no decision has to be final. I can constantly pivot as my life changes, and my b0dy changes.

When I was training for the marathon, I knew that I needed to fuel my body with more food to have the energy required.

Now that the marathon is over, I am trying to get back into a regular routine. I still will not look at the number on the floor until another week from now. Currently, I am trying to get back into my day-to-day habits that helped me be so successful in the first place.

I plan to use the course gels as needed, and water stops there! The goal is fueling about every mile for me!

Bringing a rechargeable battery too that is on its last leg to donate before I start. There’s so many people at the start that your phone battery gets drained.

I’ve heard people drop a lot of gels on the course too!

As someone who has always had her hair be the one thing that made me feel good about myself, losing it really pushed me outside of my comfort zone.

It truly is a normal part of any significant stress on your body, which includes losing at a quick pace. There are some things you can do to help, but ultimately it may just be a part of the course.

My hair is growing back! I’ve found a regimen that has really helped. Comment “LOCKS” if you want to see exactly what I’ve been using.

Also-the protein shake I use has all my vitamins/fiber/biotin/probiotics/adaptogens in it. On days I have that, I skip my multivitamin. Let me know if you want that info too.
