After an entire weekend to mourne and celebrate the life of my uncle. A third of my life with them living around the corner, they always had the best snacks and toys cause he would spoil the hell out of them.

I think memories as child tend to stick with you and it flooded my brain when I saw him for the last time, couldn't hide a sudden audible ugly cry as I passed by.
He gave me my first taste of beer, and was able to share one with him a few months ago.

Brain cancer is a mother fucker.

To the fun party uncle, rest in peace. taken in Brantford, Ontario by @p2dith

That time we went hiking in the dark where we couldn't tell if we were ten or hundreds of feet from the edge. Where it was so quiet that the silence and my anxiety from my own thoughts were making me feel more uncomfortable than the thought of falling off.

Then you get to the end, you see the view and think it was all worth it and that many people wouldn't get to experience this.

...because only someone as dumb as me is willing to try

Had to jack up the ISO way up and came out really grainy.

We had head lamps, but didn't use it much to avoid affecting our natural night vision taken in Death Valley National Park by @p2dith

I rarely get the window seat and if i did..there would be a big ol' wing in the way. And on the last leg of almost 24 hrs of layovers and 3 plane rides. I finally got a decent seat and managed to capture this and many other shots. Kinda cheesy, but with the sun perfectly in the middle, I just had hit record. by @p2dith

"He's probably out cheating on me"

Nah after spending over a year learning different instruments and the few weeks using DAWs and learning some mixing and sound engineer.

First time trying to record the analog sound of each part vs using a DAW to arrange the notes

All that to make the opening theme to Donkey Kong Country 🤣 by @p2dith
