We are pleased to offer a Modified Schedule Enrollment Option for students whose individual circumstances require a schedule that differs from our standard class schedule.

This option is designed to provide greater flexibility while maintaining the consistency and training standards of our program.

Modified Schedule Criteria:

▫️Students must be enrolled for a minimum of two full days per week.
▫️The modified schedule must be reviewed and approved by the Artistic Director.
▫️Tuition will be determined based on the student’s approved weekly schedule and level of participation.
▫️Students enrolled on a modified schedule are expected to meet the same classroom standards and expectations as students enrolled in the regular schedule.
▫️Participation in performances, rehearsals, examinations, and other required program activities will be communicated and agreed upon at the time of enrollment.
▫️Availability of specific classes is subject to space and scheduling.

Families interested in a modified schedule should contact the office to discuss their student’s needs and request approval before registering.

Our goal is to provide flexibility where possible while ensuring that each student’s training remains consistent, purposeful, and supportive of their continued development. taken in Pennsylvania Ballet Academy by @paballetacademy

🎂 Happy Birthday to our founder, Deborah Hoover! ❤️✨

Taking a little trip down memory lane to 2020, when Deborah shared the story of Pennsylvania Ballet Academy and how it all began in 2017. 🩰

What started with a vision, a passion for ballet, and a belief in what we could build together has continued to grow into something truly special. We are so grateful for Deborah’s belief in the Academy and for the foundation she created, which has allowed us to continue growing, dreaming, and sharing the beauty of dance with our students and community.

Happy Birthday, Deborah! Thank you for believing in PBA and for being such an important part of our story. Here’s to celebrating you and all that we continue to build together! ❤️🥂

What does a ballerina think about during a piece?

Happy National Dance Day! As beautiful as dancing looks, it is anything but easy! Use today to celebrate the skill and dedication it takes to perform this stunning, yet difficult, art form. Sylvie did a magnificent job as the sugar plum fairy in last year’s Nutcracker Sweets showcase!

“Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy,” performed by former student Sylvie Gallo @_sylviegallo_ in PBA’s 2025 Nutcracker Sweets. Artistic Director Vanessa Zahorian.
