There’s just something about being on an island that makes you slow down and settle into the moment. Our stay at @pacificsands in Tofino gave us space to breathe, be together, and enjoy our family without always thinking about what’s next. Just a reminder that you can always leave on Friday and come home on Monday.⁠

We packed the car, grabbed the raincoats (the dogs have better ones than me), and spent a few days doing absolutely nothing except long beach walks with the dogs, exactly what we needed.⁠

Stayed at @pacificsands, where the beach is basically your front yard, and the dogs are welcome. Rain gear by @canadapooch, which held up beautifully to a very wet, very happy weekend.⁠
