🌵Entities to Lovers🌵

Thank you to the author, Mallory Marlowe, Publisher Berkley Publishing Group and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book. I received a gifted copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.

Welcome to the Ye Old Spirit Shop!

Rory: by day she’s a paranormal medium offering psychic readings, by night she haunts the streets of Boston as a ghost tour operator.

Ezra: by day an adjunct history professor, by night a thorn in Rory’s side and her tour competitor.

A scheduling mishap puts Rory and Ezra on a crash course as they must co run the evening ghost tour. After knocking over a table on the tour and disturbing a ghosts’ possessions the two are hexed! Suffering a string of bad luck unless the two are physically near one another may not be a course for these two after all.

This was a cute, sexy, romcom for spooky season reading! A forced proximity full of banter and a ghost tour I would love to take!
Told in a dual POV with a cameo from Love and Other Conspiracies, and an array of ghosts to enjoy throughout. by @pageandplace

🌵Written in Starlight🌵

Thank you to the author, Sloane Brooks, Publisher Atria and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book. I received a gifted copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.

Della is a storybook chambermaid.
Ansel is an intergalactic bounty hunter.
Their worlds and hearts are about to collide through a magical book.

A book that is able to write itself that both Della and Ansel find copies in their worlds. The two begin writing to eachother and open a portal.

They will learn, every story has a price!

Such an interesting premise but I had such a hard time getting into the book. I really struggled but I think it was just a me thing. I did get through the middle which particularly dragged for me and enjoyed the end. I also enjoyed the back and forth of the books between Ansel and Della. The mix of fantasy and sci-fi was a fun blend and this will definitely find the readers who love it!

This would definitely make a great adaptation and I could see that working because, again, I found the premise truly intriguing. by @pageandplace

🌵Tormented and Tulips🌵

Thank you to the author, LB Vines, Publisher Victory Editing NetGalley CoOp and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book. I received a gifted copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.

Two rival serial unalivers, one a chaotic mess and the other a neat freak, take their “artwork” to the next level in this dark, romcom, suspense!

Patience and Ethan had me flipping the pages so quickly with their equally unhinged ways. And sweet Gerald just stole my heart! Check the trigger warnings for sure but like these unalivers, there was great balance between the darkness and banter.

I’m super excited to see what’s up next in the Rapturous Chaos Collection! by @pageandplace

🌵The Portal to the Damned🌵

Thank you to the author, KA Ravensong, for the opportunity to read this book. I received a gifted copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.

A homicide detective bound by duty, a demon bound by oath and a kill3r trying to rewrite the laws of hell.

Det. Bria Reilly is investigating a string of gruesome murd3rs staged as the deadly sins. Silas Drake has been playing a deadly game of cat and mouse (uhummm stalking) with Det. Reilly for months. As the investigation turns supernatural, Bria turns to Silas for an alliance.

This debut, standalone contains a long list of trigger warnings and is intended for readers 18 years +.

I enjoyed this paranormal romance but it did take me longer than I anticipated to get into the book. It could have just been a timing thing for me since I do love a well written paranormal romance. This was an fascinating read with plenty of spice and crimes scenes to investigate! The mystery had me intrigued and learning about Bria and Silas kept me turning the pages. I also appreciated the accuracy of the LE aspects!

If you love these, you’ll love The Portal to the Damned:
Human x Demon
Stalker x Stalker
Touch Her & D1e
Ritualistic Murd3r Mystery
Morally Grey & Pierced

The Portal to the Damned will release on November 17, 2026! by @pageandplace

🌵Look What the Cat Dragged In🌵

Thank you to the author, Jason Rekulak, Publisher Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this book. I received a gifted copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.

🎧 Stephanie Németh-Parker fantastically narrates a tale of pet sitting gone horribly wrong! Penny’s cat Popcorn went missing during a blizzard and she is beside herself. An opportunity presents itself to catsit for Godfrey, a strange but super affectionate cat. Soon Penny realizes that Godfrey isn’t a normal cat and her world is changing, not for the better!

Such a strange but very entertaining listen as more is discovered in this cat horror! The more you got into the book the more unsettled you felt but there was no way I wasn’t going to find out what was up with Godfrey and where was Popcorn?!?

Loved the lore and of course the cats! I think this is a great creepy spooky season to read, especially for the crazy cat ladies/daddies! But I do not suggest looking at what the cat dragged in… unless you have a strong stomach!

I definitely love listening to the audiobook but knowing that I was missing out on the book illustrations was an absolute bummer. by @pageandplace

🌵Home for the Homicides🌵

Thank you to the authors, Elle Cosimano and Hannah Morrissey, Publishers Macmillan Audio and St Martins Press/Minotaur and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to and read this book. I received a gifted copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.

Angela Dawe, Colin Donnell and Patti Murin narrate the most homicidal time of the year! Join Special Agents Holly Frost and Mark Shepard as they investigate an icy murd3r in the town of Christmas.

A tourist has been found stabbed to d3ath in the towns nativity scene. The local cops are relying on Holly and Mark to solve this heinous crime before the annual Jingle Bell Jubilee.

Holly and Mark are both vying for a promotion to Major Crimes so they have twelve days to catch a kill3r and save Christmas, the town of course!

This was a fun, humorous holiday read with a murd3r to solve. These enemies to lovers are trying to get back in the good graces of their boss and get promoted all while solving crime! Great banter and a wonderful holiday romcom dressed with crime scene tape.

The audiobook was great with narrators for Holly and Mark as well as the “Narrator” - the voice of reason! I loved the at they have distinct voices and you can tell exactly who is speaking.

This is book 1 of the Holly & Mark Mystery series! by @pageandplace

Let’s not forget the grumpy town bachelor who is rumored to be cursed and the witch hunt that ensues after the midnight margarita mishap!

🌵The Ferryman’s Daughter🌵

Thank you to the author, Yasmin Angoe, Publisher Brilliance Publishing/Audio and NetGalley for the opportunity to listen to this book. I received a gifted copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.

The blurb instantly grabbed me and I knew I wanted to read this one- The daughter of an infamous murd3rer is taunted by copy cat when she is drawn into their sick cat and mouse game.

Sanaa is a forensic science teacher, her father was known as “the Ferryman” and eighteen years after his disappearance bodies are turning up with his tell tale signature.

This was soooo good, I am thrilled to have been able to listen to the audio narrated by Susan Dalian. Such a fabulous job, I was caught up with the words and her smooth tone each time I listened. This was an excellent mystery/thriller and the storyline was so captivating from start to finish.

I was definitely on the edge of my seat listening and am excited to check out the authors other work since this one was so good!

Published on October 1, 2026 and indicates it is book 1 of Bloodlines so I’m absolutely thrilled for more! by @pageandplace

🌵The Bear and the Lamb🌵

Thank you to the author, Halle Oak, and Publisher Songbird Books for the opportunity to listen to this book. I received a gifted copy and am leaving my review voluntarily.

I was so excited to hear that the audio was being recorded for this dark, western romance! Aria Montgomery and Jacob Morgan really brought Alice and Kodiak into the 21st century in the best way! Beautifully tender and balanced with a gruffness that will make you blush.

An 1800s historical western but make it a dark romance- yes, absolutely yes! A forbidden attraction to a possessive outlaw on the run. All aboard this one, just steer clear of the law!
