Y'all it's been a week. And it's only Wednesday.

Okay, really it's been a few weeks. Work is stressful, life is stressful, I'm getting FOMO from a lot of people getting to be on street teams and influencer programs, and I'm just tired. But then @pageandplace was so sweet and sent me a wonderful care package! I was planning on a self care night and this looks like it'll help with that. Thank you so much! It may not seem like a big deal, but it is to me and was so amazing to get this today!!!

The bookmarks killed me, they're so cute and i love a good self care mask!! Thank you so much.

Callum is a squishmallow i don't own, and he's so adorable!! I've never tried knitting, but theres a first for everything, so that seems super fun too!

I know you can barely see the stamped library card book sleeve but one of the dates is my birthday (July 20) so i think that's actually super cool, i didnt even realize until i looked at it.

❤️‍🔥🤠 Traveling Book Finale 🤠❤️‍🔥

As you can tell by my feed I’m not much of a romance reader but my friend @pageandplace chose a good one to pass around. If I read romance I need a plot, and this had one so I was committed plus the spice was just right. First cowboy romance, and it was a fun read for sure.

This was also the last book in my two traveling book clubs and as much as I’m sad that it’s ending, I can’t wait to page through my books with all the annotations from my bookish besties!

I had the absolute most fun getting to meet @abigailowenauthor and @elise.kova on Sunday to celebrate the release of Prince of Swords! So grateful to @bookpassage for hosting this wonderful event! And also so grateful for book friends to go to events with! I went with two friends, ran into three more there, and made new ones as well!

If you haven’t checked out these authors before, here are some very brief blurbs of these books according to me, myself, and I:

The Games Gods Play is what happens when the gods decide humans are great pawns to play games with, but those games are obviously deadly trials and Hades is obviously hot!

Arcana Academy follows a very talented wielder of tarot card magic who was imprisoned but now gets to attend this magic school with a headmaster who is obviously dark, brooding, secretive, and also hot!

In summary, read these books! Both series have 2/3 books out so far!

Still pinching myself after the absolute perfection of this past weekend in Napa ✨ 🍇
The ultimate highlight was finally getting to meet the incredible Lisa Jewell—an author I’ve adored and read way late into the night for years. Getting to hear her in conversation and celebrate the release of It Could Have Been Her made the drive totally worth it. Plus, it was her final U.S. book tour stop before heading back to the UK, which made the evening feel even more special! She was so funny, genuine, and engaging. 📚❤️
A huge thank you to Napa Bookmine for hosting such a wonderful event!
To make a whole weekend out of it, my awesome hubby and I started the day with some classic Northern California sunshine, exploring downtown, and (of course) a little wine tasting. I also got to meet up with the lovely @pageandplace and her friend @astacargo at the event, which was the absolute best. 🥂✨
To top it all off, my husband and I ended the perfect day with an incredible dinner at Morimoto Napa. 🥢🍣
Truly a 10/10 weekend.
