3•12•26 🎉 Celebrating 1️⃣ year of Page Physical Therapy and Wellness 🎊

If you would’ve told me in PT school that I would leave the traditional PT world and start my own practice in the year 2025, I would’ve laughed in your face. Being an entrepreneur was never on my life’s bingo card, but here we are. And now I’m asking myself: why didn’t I do this sooner?? 😆

I am forever grateful for the opportunity to serve people the way I do. Being able to practice in a way that is good for my nervous system has elevated the quality of care I can bring to each person. It has also completely changed my quality of life.

None of this would be possible without the immense support of my husband @nathanpage12 , my dearest friends and family, self-care team, and of course @theperformancenutrition for providing a safe and welcoming space to practice. It would also not be possible without my amazing patients, ortho friends, fellow PT/OTs, and other wonderful referral sources.

Thank you to everyone for a great first year! Here’s to many more 🎉🎊🍾

Hi everyone! My name is Angela. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I am a wife, dog-mom, sister, auntie, and daughter. I am an introvert, enneagram 1, a recovering perfectionist, and a retired D1 gymnast.

On December 20, 2024, I left corporate healthcare after 11 years. I was burnt out, overstimulated, and fed up with the status quo of physical therapy. I loved my patients, but was over dealing with the atrocities of insurance-based care: the limited number of visits, ridiculous co-pays, not to mention the demand to see a high volume of patients, the prior authorizations, endless documentation, and abysmally poor reimbursement rates. The “do more with less” / hustle culture grated my spirit for years.

After months of deliberation, I realized I could not continue in this setting. With the support and encouragement from my husband, closest friends, family, and my entire self-care / wellness team (you know who you are), I decided that my path forward was to open my own practice.

We all deserve to have and operate under a regulated nervous system. We all deserve actual work-life balance. But sometimes, in order to do so, you have to leave a “good” job and be curious enough to try something new.

Thanks for being here 😊. Stay tuned for more updates and info about the business!

Over the last month, I’ve experienced my first non-orthopedic health crisis as an adult (aside from perimenopause) and haven’t really been able to exercise much other than occasional walks. It’s been very humbling, to say the least.

I post this to make light of the fact that I am my own harshest critic. (Aren’t we all?!) It is very hard for me to practice self-compassion, and it is very easy for me to have compassion for my patients. The work is in being kind to ourselves.

So just know that if you’re going through something: I see you, I’m with you, and I’m doing the work as well.

The day when all the pieces came together for @nathanpage12 : the weather, the river current, nutrition, hydration, equipment, and body. It truly is rare in this sport. Swim (1.2mi) 28:27, Bike (56mi) 2:33:55, Run (13.1mi) 1:40:07 = 4:52:46 finish time. He met all his goals for this race and I couldn’t be more proud. Shoutout to @marilyn_chychota for being the BEST coach ever and to @that.triathlonlife for the kit and immaculate vibes.

It was also so special for Nate to do this race with @david_craft.dpt , @jadecosten , and @sage.costen.tri . It’s the first triathlon he’s done without my brother, @lauten7 , and it’s always nice to be surrounded by friends and the triathlon community at large. So proud of you all for putting in the countless hours of training, hard work, and grit. Until the next race…

Happy National Gymnastics Day!! This sport actively consumed almost half my life, and continues to be a part of it to this day. While I still try to do a handstand and a cartwheel every now and then, most of my participation now is as a clinician. As a former D1/L10 gymnast, I’m so happy to be an advocate for every gymnast I see…to give them the care I never had, to understand the sport and provide specificity in physical therapy and training, and to protect them when coaches try to act like doctors (or minimize an injury altogether). Please enjoy these 10 frames spanning the last 20 years.

STURDY > SKINNY. Don’t be afraid to lift like your life depends on it…because it kinda does 😬

Even a brief hip mobility flow goes a long way.

Y’all. It is 2026. Our knees NEED to be able to go over our toes. Here are two (of many) drills I like to do to get my patients comfortable with letting their knees move towards their toes in order to squat better.

That said, there are many reasons why this movement could be difficult for a patient: maybe they had knee surgery and they don’t have all their range of motion back yet; maybe it’s painful when their knees go too far forward or they’re afraid of making their pain worse; maybe they don’t have enough ankle dorsiflexion.

Whatever the reason, ya girl is going to work with you on your mechanics. And we’re going to get you moving correctly and feeling more confident to do the things that matter most to you.

7•26•26 | Perhaps the coolest and cloudiest @smiley_triathlon_festival in years! 🙌🏼 So fun to watch family and friends run this race - wasn’t able to capture every moment, but kudos to all the athletes out there today, especially my people: @nathanpage12 , @lauten7 , @david_craft.dpt and his dad, @jointreconpac and his son. Always a great day at Smiley’s 😎

When @david_craft.dpt with @elitemovement.ws suggests a lumbar spine course, you take it. Had a great weekend learning with @icephysio and friends, and will definitely be taking more courses with them in the future. 10/10 would recommend.

Fun fact: I was part of the team that helped hire David at his first job. And he was the catalyst / trailblazer for me in starting my own practice. Now we get to take classes together and cheer one another on in life and business. Proud of you and always grateful for you!

3•14•26 | First race of the 2026 season for @nathanpage12 : the Gravel Battle of Sumter Forest, part of the @southeastgravel series. Nate rode the long course (73mi) with a finishing time of 4:21. A lot of fun was had, and some fun knee problems for me/us to work on 😎✌🏼. So very proud of you, my love! Until the next race…
