I was reflecting on my year, and I cannot believe we made this film. We really did it.

Becoming a filmmaker wasn’t at the forefront of my mind when I began my educational journey. However, I had the opportunity to join a group of ambitious, talented young women who shared my passions and values. The cast and crew I worked with were exceptional, and they all looked like me—which is rare. I thank God every day for this ongoing lesson that has taught me the many underlying meanings behind the word “no.”

Of course, I’ll continue to dance until my feet decide to fall off, but “Who’s Next?” is the reason why.

That’s all, thanks for letting me vent:)

Last month, I had the honor and absolute pleasure of performing with the @hbartscollective at Jacob’s Pillow.

7 weeks with friends old and new, each one embraced me with kindness and encouragement.

Hope, my inspiration, my professor, my bison buddy, the funniest person on the planet, and the Queen of the Room. Thank you for turning the studio into a sanctuary for me, every. day. Being under your direction has been an answered prayer. I am so grateful for your patience and never ending generosity. Love you!!🩵 taken in Jacob's Pillow by @paigepiperr

a vision decreed. this work comes from the deepest part of my heart. the first classical pointe composition in the university’s history.

my four little swans. my corps four. mis chicas. thank you again for your trust. you have been so impactful in this process for me. it never mattered how my week went because i knew that every friday, i could put my boxes on, and twirl with you.

for every professor, mentor, and colleague that has sprinkled gems into my choreography and helped shape clarity into my artistry, i will forever be grateful.
