Nefesh b’Nefesh (NBN)— a key “israeli” settler recruitment agency— is once again hosting an illegal fair, this time in Queens, location TBA. Since 2003, NBN has recruited over 80,000 settlers, of which over 13,000 served in the IOF. On the heels of the 3rd anniversary of October 7th, It is our duty to confront the pipeline of settlement and zionist colonial expansion that is taking place in our own neighborhoods.
Join us at 1pm on October 11th to stop these settler-colonial recruiting fairs, selling stolen Palestinian land and recruiting IOF soldiers at a time when Gaza is continuing to face genocidal attacks and unsustainable living conditions, while the expansion of settlements and attacks on our people in the West Bank and East Jerusalem are increasing exponentially.

ZOHRAN, ZOHRAN, TAKE A STAND, STOP THE SALE OF STOLEN LAND!

Today, as Mayor Zohran Mamdani attended an Israelis for Peace vigil in Union Square on the anniversary of October 7th, we reminded him of his complicity in the ongoing ethnic cleansing and genocide of the Palestinian people. Mayor Mamdani has the power to take action against the sale of stolen land in NYC. Yet he chooses to turn a blind eye and betray the movement for Palestine.

We called on the Mayor to:
1) Take meaningful action against the sale of stolen land in NYC
2) Remove the tax exempt status of religious institutions and other locations hosting stolen land sales
3) Drop Jessica Tisch as NYPD Police Commissioner and disband the Strategic Response Group

Join us on October 11th to mobilize against the settler recruitment fair in Queens, location TBA. All out to stop the sale of stolen land! zohrankmamdani by @palawda

The ZIM Virginia weapons ship was back at the Port of Elizabeth on October 4 to load up with more weapons to ship to the Zionist Entity for use in its ongoing genocide in Gaza and aggression across the region, from Lebanon to Iran.

Port Workers and Communities for Palestine has been organizing protests to coincide with the loading of each ZIM Virginia arrival. We picketed to call on longshore workers from the @ILAunion (the International Longshoremen’s Association) not to load weapons on to the ship. The goal of the campaign is to build power among workers and community members to stop the flow of arms through the Port. Showing up on the day of these arrivals is also a critical step to raising awareness among passing truckers about ZIM cargo, as well as to force ILA workers to confront their complicity in the flow of arms being used in war crimes and genocide.

Workers and communities have the power to stop the genocide and endless wars! The Zionist Entity could not continue its aggression without the material support of the US and its other imperialist backers. Coordinated labor action around the world - including right here in the US - has historically been a key tactic in fighting Zionism and imperialism. by @palawda

New Yorkers continued their protest of Netanyahu for several blocks into the night. The people of New York will not rest until justice is brought to Netanyahu and his accomplices, until the end to the Genocide, until Israel is sanctioned, and until Palestine is free from the River to the Sea. by @palawda

As part of CUNY4Palestine’s weekly divestment target campaign, students and workers in collaboration with @palawda highlight CUNY’s direct investments in the companies facilitating land theft in the occupied West Bank. Bank Leumi, Bank Hapoalim, and Israel Discount Bank provide the financial support necessary to facilitate land theft and Caterpillar provides the destructive technology used to destroy Palestinian homes and infrastructure. We demand that CUNY divest!

Publicly available records document a range of connections among current NJIT faculty and leadership; from prior service in the Israel Defense Forces and employment with Israel’s Ministry of Defense, to military technology work and recognition for contributions to Israeli defense systems.

These individual histories exist alongside NJIT’s institutional partnership with Ben-Gurion University through the Institute for Future Technologies.

These connections are not interchangeable, nor does a person’s past military service alone define their present beliefs or actions. We are highlighting them because institutional transparency requires examining the relationships and histories surrounding our university, especially when Palestinian students and their advocacy have themselves been subjected to scrutiny.

Our previous post documented internal discussions surrounding Palestinian advocacy at NJIT, including opposition to SJP recognition and concerns raised about Palestine-related campus programming. Against that backdrop, we believe NJIT’s own institutional relationships and documented faculty connections deserve transparency as well.

The purpose of this post is not to assign guilt by association. It is to document.

Students should be able to ask questions about the institutions their university partners with, the relationships it develops, and the broader structures in which those relationships exist.

Scrutiny should not only flow in one direction.

NETANYAHU OUT OF NYC! Wanted ICC war criminal and chief architect of the genocide in Gaza, Benjamin Netanyahu, is speaking today at the UN General Assembly. When American politicians won’t do anything about it, the people will.

Join the @palestinianyouthmovement today at 4pm at Bryant Park to march to the UN Headquarters in protest of Netanyahu's presence, and the ongoing genocide, apartheid, and ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.

It is the duty of any person of conscience to make sure Netanyahu and his state accomplices feel unwelcome in every corner of the world.

Global Citizen (@glblctzn) - New York, say no to artwashing genocide!

Global Citizen Festival, happening this Saturday in Central Park, NYC, is supposed to be an event about humanitarianism, peace and ending poverty. But Cisco is using it to launder its image. They want to distract you from how Cisco powers Israel's military infrastructure and crimes of atrocity, and recent revelations from the EEOC that Cisco subjects pro-Palestinian employees to a hostile environment.

Tell @glblctzn to stop contradicting its own values by partnering with Cisco #DumpCisco by @palawda
