As we approach the second anniversary of the Gaza Ghetto uprising, we share the hopes of the people there for a real ceasefire. If that happens the only credit goes to the steadfastness of the resistance, of the freedom fighters of Palestine, who remain undefeated, and their heroic allies in Yemen, Lebanon and Iran. And to the rising worldwide movement against genocide, the global Sumud flotilla and the many other ships still coming, the tens of millions who have taken to the streets around the world, across Europe and Asia and Africa, who shut down Italy yesterday with a general strike. Including those who have stayed in the streets here and exposed the Zionist lies. @billcecil8

We are Port Worker and Communities for Palestine, organizing at the Port of Elizabeth, NJ to enact a people’s arms embargo demanding an end to ZIM’s operations at the port. We are a pro-Palestine anti-imperialist collective, organizing with truck drivers and other port workers to halt ZIM shipments, which include bullets, military vehicles, and other goods for the genocide of the Palestinian people.

ZIM Integrated Shipping Services LTD is the zionist entity’s largest and oldest shipping company, serving as its primary maritime connection. ZIM laid the foundation for the entity's settler colonial project by transporting the earliest settlers to Palestine, and materials to build the settlements on occupied land. ZIM not only ships military cargo directly responsible for the killing of Palestinians, but also food for Israeli military contractors and components for surveillance technology.

Over a decade ago, the Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC) and community organizers, with the support of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) Local 10 longshore workers, formed the #BlocktheBoat campaign in Oakland, California and blocked cargo ships operated by ZIM, forcing ZIM’s operations at the port to come to a halt.

Port Workers and Communities for Palestine joins people of conscience around the world in heeding the urgent demand from the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions “to refuse to deal with military shipments to Israel through all military ships and logistics companies, especially Maersk and ZIM.” Port Workers and Communities for Palestine remains committed to building sustained pressure and boycotts to end the genocide in Gaza and end to the occupation of Palestine. Please join us at future actions at the Port of Elizabeth & ALL-Ways Forwarding as part of our campaign to #DontMoveZIM.

At the start of the olive harvest season, Israeli settlers, protected by the occupation army, attacked farmers in the village of Far’kha, west of Salfit, as they gathered the olive fruits — the symbol of Palestinian steadfastness #FAz3A. Be part of resilience.
Be on the land with us.
