Tina ( me) always chasing waterfalls now for iver 20 years. I’m one with nature. Lover of dense forests. I travel to learn , meet and learn from new cultures and experience life’s diversities - Born in Hawaii and I guess that fresh new start and beauty never left my heart. - I support national and state parks and can’t understand any desires to cut funding to supporting this beauty.

March 30, 1891, President Benjamin Harrison set aside the Yellowstone Park Timberland Reserve (now known as the Shoshone National Forest) under the Forest Reserve Act of 1891.

President Theodore Roosevelt dramatically expanded the system, setting aside 150 national forests and establishing the U.S. Forest Service in 1905 with Gifford Pinchot as its first chief ….. where I am sitting today in these photos !

Here’s the verdict on my new oxygen deprived mask - it’s pretty nice to train with but even this “pretty pink” size small is too darn small🤣 The mask does strain the breathing but it was not tough for me . Support one another today! 🌺 As a woman with a female run business I like to share a few words now and then. Let’s make at least two people’s day today that much more special in OUR special way. We all come across people who could use some help with a genuine compliment or words of encouragement or whatever! Then again, it might be in your nature to do this already and maybe you do this with many people on a routine basis. That’s great! 💥- There are those that don’t so let’s get it started and with all of us supporting one another and encouraging one another’s simple ideas and really help one another achieve dreams, climb the tallest mountains and get back back up when there’s a little fall. I really like women that like other women, enjoy friendship and don’t have jealousy of other’s looks or accomplishments and they are some of the most successful, healthiest women to be around personally and professionally. Let’s grow this tribe of like-minded and set the example. States hiking 20 years ago… I got my family addicted to it around 10 years ago … as of the last couple years I have achieved the status of “ elite professional level climber, – meaning I hike in elevations of 3 miles and under an hour with a day pack under 10 pounds… I’ve been doing this in over 90° weather which adds another additional challenge and setting goals has been incredible. Waking up with your own personal purpose is amazing – I get to have my purposes in nature. What a glorious life by @paleomazing

Somebody on the mountain said to me today that I’m always so happy and asked if they could take a photo. I then realized I really love my life and I am truly in a place in my life in which I created this very place and at this very moment. The older I get the wiser I get and I know what I like and don’t and what I prefer and not. The more that people think they know me and “how” I am, the more I realize I’m free to create myself any damn way I want and have the liberty to change my mind too. I DO know that nature and the beautiful outdoors is a very happy place for me and always was even as a child . I told my husband last night that I feel very satisfied at a days end when I’ve been outdoors, and I want this as part of my daily life. I always wish everyone the utmost happiness and wish everyone jumped out of bed with that spring in their step ready to accomplish their dreams, visions and goals. It’s an enriched and abundant life being on a path you know you chose and are making happen! I instill this in my children to this very day and those I come in contact with for work and pleasure. Our life and how we conduct it is our choice and I do believe this . Alan and I took a few months off social sites as we were traveling , hiking exploring and visiting so many friends and family along the way. - I’ll share some photos. Some people have been telling me that what I share on my Instagram is being posted on Facebook. So there you go:) news to me! I am a bit more on instagram but not often.

* just about three hours in redwoods in Northern California near Crescent city. we were heading into a trip up the entire Oregon coast to hike each day , & we were wanting to get there so it was a short yet loveky three hour stop in the private forest - lovely!

Our humble orchard in our west coast home continues to give us bounty galore each season, currently loaded with huge organic persimmons. We continue to expand wonderful relationships with neighbors who we exchange their goods and just last week we were represented with not only delicious preserves but two fresh loaves of sourdough homemade breads from two of our neighbors. We love our community !

Our 60 pound PyreDoodle (finley) is doing wonderfully in her agility class with Alan and she is a rockstar when it comes to hand signals without verbal which I taught her since she was a puppy. She’s now therapy trained and such a sweetie, loved babies & kids ( protective yet silly) but heaven help any of the loval cayotees that come near us, her or our property!

Really enjoying a lot of family this year , wonderful time wirh friends old & new , learned new skills and expanding in new arenas.

Always learning and have been applying some new cutting edge information and protocols having to do with the antiaging and increasing quality of life ! We are very fortunate to be living in a period of time with such advanced technologies and information.

These delicious grain free dairy free Myers lemon pound cakes are ready and being shipped to the East Coast. That’s right no grains or dairy. No one can tell! One of my most popular requested deserts are my pound cakes , cakes and my crispy waffles for breakfast snd deserts! 👍 My neighbor dropped off a bunch of her Meyers lemons because my tree pooped out on me this year!

Let me introduce Finley our latest family member. We she came into our life at a tender 8 weeks old and just turned 6 month this December 24 - she has her own Instagram page now too @FinleytheLovable_PyreDoodle
she's the sweetest little- big girl ever and SO smart! I've trained her to do all commands via hand signals and voice commands as an alternate, and she's a #therapydog as well. She loves all babies , all children , all animals and pups . She's a devoted pup to her family and she loves to snuggle, give and receive love. This mixed breed of #pyrenees and #poodle is one of the tops in my opinion. This is my second Pyredoodle. I just love everything about the Pyrenees personality and love everything about no shedding with the poodle mix - if you're curious about where I got her or her therapy training please don't hesitate to ask me via DM . National Women’s Day is aimed at gender equality, a greater awareness of discrimination and a celebration of women's achievements. I celebrate you all and all the young girls and daughters who will grow up taking their own torch down the paths they choose, making their changes and differences in their own ways and being recognized and properly acknowledged for their efforts no matter how big or small. - Tina - mother of three amazing kids, wife of an incredible man, grandma of an exceptional little 4 year old and long term advocate of celiac disease awareness, the benefits of the appropriate diet and lifestyle for the individual. I am a lover of all things nature and I love to create nourishing meals and baked goods. I always feel so elated seeing and also admire the playfulness and freedom a child carries and exemplifies. To maintain or nurture that (and encourage) this quality in a child, in ones friends, family and oneself is a virtue worth fortifying. To feel “childlike” freedom, uninhibited to create with no bounds ones ideas being achieved is a joyful life indeed.
