Paleo Diet - Pro - Cons and Meal prep.
Paleo diet is a way to eat where basically most of the food is what people ate during Paleolithic Era.

You can eat
Meat - vegetables - fruits - nuts and roots.
You should avoid
Dairy - sugar - grains - legumes - alcohol - coffee - processed oils.
Pros
In my opinion this is the best diet to build muscles and keep your body lean.
Cons
I really recommend this diet for healthy people who wants to improve body composition.

▪️If you celebrate Christmas, make it a vegan day. If you really believe in peace and love, make it a vegan life. Nothing else makes sense.-

🔥What is your excuse?
-
▪️What causes more destruction? Feeding 7 billion humans? Or feeding 7 billion humans and 70 billion “mono cropped” species of slave animals every year? Then killing those 70 billion sentient individuals, + 2.7 trillion marine animals. It takes SIGNIFICANTLY LESS plant food to feed 7 billion humans than it does to feed 7 billion humans AND 70 billion land animals non-vegans raise to exploit and violently kill every year. The animals non-vegans exploit do not grow on air.
-
▪️If you want to be sure you can reduce the number of mice, moles and insects, and plants killed during harvest, then the best way to do that is to adopt a fruit/plant exclusive diet, which uses much less plants than if those plants have to be fed to other animals first. -
-
▪️There is a vast difference between intentionally causing harm and simply existing and incidentally causing harm.
-
▪️You are not a wild animal killing for survival, out of necessity. Humans are moral agents.
A moral agent is a person who has the ability to discern right from wrong and to be held accountable for his or her own actions. Moral agents have a moral responsibility not to cause unjustified harm. Exploiting and killing non human animals for any purpose is unnecessary, therefore the act is immoral. Why would you CHOOSE to inflict violence, and death upon animals when you could LIVE VEGAN and simply choose not to?

Wanted something sweet but also paleo...whipped up “fried” plantains in under 5 minutes! Check below for the easy recipe.

All you need are some ripe plantains, olive oil and cinnamon (optional). Cut the plantains to the desired width (I like them thinner) and place in a skillet with olive oil (just enough to cover the bottom) and let them fry! Make sure to flip them for evenness. Take out of the pan, place on a plate and sprinkle with cinnamon! Done! (Best served hot/warm)

Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there. Being a mom is the most important job on earth. Period. Even though my siblings and I are all in our 30’s now, my mom Tina continues to expertly wear her mom hat and ALWAYS is there for her kids, through anything. I couldn’t have picked a better family to be a part of. I love you mom!!
