⭐️How Embracing Imperfection Earned Me $21K

Wanna hear something cool?

When I had my first $21 000 month… guess where I was?

I was in my parent’s house.

Yeah, my childhood bedroom!

Where there were STILL crayon marks on the wall LOL 🤣🤣🤣🖍

That’s where I earned my first $21 000 month.

I closed 4 private clients at $5K & sold 1 course for $1K.

I didn’t even have my own BEDROOM to myself… I shared with my lil sis.

I had to ask my mama to take calls from HER office. (Thanks queen!)

It was NOT PERFECT.

I delivered well as always but no… I wasn’t in a fancy downtown office with a fancy ass plant LOL 🌿

And WHY do I tell you this I tell you this?

Cuz SO much of the time we're WAITING for the perfect circumstances to step up.

To FINALLY learn a new skill, invest in ourselves, uplevel in our career or do any of the shit that you wanna do.

Honey I was NOT in the perfect circumstance.

That was not the ideal place to run a business out of & yet I did it. It felt good!

You do NOT have to be in the perfect circumstances to change your life or learn high ticket skills, honey.

The courage to take MASSIVE IMPERFECT ACTION is life changing.

It changed my freaking life. It gave me new levels of freedom new levels of confidence, courage, time & money leverage. And it was just delicious.

What wait til things are PERFECT?
Do it now.

(I just typed this whole caption out & LOST it. 😭This is take 2... talk about Imperfection!)

If I did it with ADHD, traumas, tons of fears & all kinds of hardships & imperfect circumstances… sweetie you can too!

I've been obsessed with freedom since 12 years old.

If you grew up unfree, you're obsessed with freedom too.

It's something we feel deep in our bones...

We stay hungry no matter how many zeros in our bank account...

We stay hungry for permanent freedom and control over our own destiny...

I felt squished and controlled growing up.

The harms are too many to count and according to my close humans, are too personal to share.

But I'll tell you my hunger for next level freedom never went away.

Through all the clients and successes and wins...

I was still hungry for more freedom...

After my first $5K sale I was ready for & achieved my $10K and after that $15K and $20K...

Now working on 100K deals...

It was never about the material stuff

It was a never ending quest for more freedom

More choice

More power for myself and my sisters.

I'm so proud of all the freedom tools I created along the way.

For the little girl in me and you

Who needs to run away to feel safer

I've had extraordinary motivation.

If you grew up without enough, you never need motivation again.

I know and have always known what and who I'm fighting for.

When women are free, the world is a better place.

Pain turns to power and purpose.

I was never one of those "film yourself crying for social media" girlies.

But here I am.

Because I am dedicated to sharing the truth.

Life has been both beautiful and heart-breaking.

Family stuff has always felt heavy and hard to be honest.

And lately it's been a lot a lot a lot.

At the same time, I'm making breakthroughs in my work.

And both are happening at once.

Sometimes it's incredibly hard.

If you're going through it, sis, I see you.

Life doesn't stop just because you're building.

Your heart doesn't stop breaking just because you have deadlines and goals.

Just got off an emotional convo with my friend Steph.

I cried twice.

Wiped my tears while she shared good advice with me.

It's been an emotional week (life).

She's built her audience to 60K.

And every time I refresh it seems like 1K new people magically appear 😂

She was like "P, your work and your message is so powerful but that doesn't always come across on your Instagram."

I was grateful for her perspectives.

I know she's right, of course.

My people know me.

That I care about helping women heal and sell.

And heal as they learn to sell.

I'm so proud of my trauma informed sales school.

But sharing vulnerably with you ladies, especially new followers feels nerve-wracking.

Part of me wants to wear all the makeup, use all the filters and just post authority content. And part of me fucking hates it and wants to let down all the masks and just be fully me.

Our egos and our insecurities can get in the way of our ability to connect well online. Every day of this social media journey humbles me LOL

If it were up to me, I'd skip it and just work with my beautiful clients to build their empires.

Ultimately though, I realize it's not really about me.

We are vessels for our work.

We are our top advocates and spokespeople.

We are marketers of our message.

And mine is about women learning how powerful and worthy and infinitely valuable they are.

This is for you and for all my sisters out there.

I want us all to feel powerful, abundant and free.

And that requires me to share my heart with you.
