We’ve brought some of the most beloved Filipino businesses in PDX together for an evening of celebrating our cultural heritage, no holds barred. Find SUN RICE, Pamana, Balong, Butchukoy’s, Makulit, and Kalesa Coffee all under the same roof for one epic night to celebrate Filipino American History Month (FAHM).

10% of all profits for the evening will be donated to @cap.northwest to help continue their mission of advancing compassionate, whole-person care for LGBTQ+ people and those impacted by HIV.

Portland, you had us at checkered tablecloths and tinsel curtains.

Danielle got to spend my Friday night pulling cards for the women of @rouxportland at the gorgeous @pamanapdx tucked into this little glowing vip corner that felt like its own tiny universe. There is something about reading tarot at a table set for food, surrounded by people who build their whole lives around nourishing others, that made every single pull feel like it landed exactly where it needed to.

Thank you to Delia, Jenna, and the whole @houseofcommonspdx crew for dreaming this up and trusting Cacio e Pepe Tarot to bring the magic. Thank you to everyone who sat down across from me and let me see a little of their story. This is the whole reason we made this deck.

Our Tope Taco Collab Series has been such a fun one and we’ve loved all our parents, but we’re extra excited to be partnering with our downstairs neighbors, @pamanapdx, for this next one!

The Pamana Sisig Taco is a fun take on the Filipino dish sisig, and it’s timely with October being Filipino Heritage Month. It will be available starting next Tuesday, October 6th, some join us to kick off this collab then!

We’ve brought our friends together in one place for one epic night to celebrate Filipino American History Month (FAHM).

SUN RICE to operate the main dining room while our friends from @eat.balong, @butchukoys_icecream, @kalesacoffee, @makulitpdx, and @pamanapdx will be selling their wares on the @otherside.pdx. Tanduay cocktails will be flowing and limited Tanduay swag will be available!

Our beneficiary partner for this event is @cap.northwest, who’s mission is to advance compassionate, whole-person care for LGBTQ+ people and those impacted by HIV. 10% of all profits for the evening will be donated.

This one’s for the early risers! Introducing our early morning breakfast! Originally an option for Hoxton Hotel guests, we’re excited to share it with our greater community. We’ll have this short menu running 7 am to 9 am Monday through Friday. Our entire regular brunch menu will be available at 9 am everyday and these delicious options are joining it! No reservations required for early morning service—just come hungry!

So excited to be kicking off the Roux Weekend at @pamanapdx (inside @thehoxtonhotel) with owner Geri Leung @888geri.

Geri is the co-owner and creative force behind Pamana, the Filipino-American restaurant she runs with her husband, chef Ethan Leung. Together, they’ve built Pamana around family, food, heritage, and the idea of carrying something forward.

Before Pamana, Geri and Ethan ran the beloved Baon Kainan food cart and are soon growing into their second location in the former Expatriate space!

We’re excited to start the weekend with the people who make Portland’s food community special.

If you didn’t know, we’re Ethan and Geri and we own Pamana. About a year ago we got the fortunate opportunity to partner with @thehoxtonhotel to grow from our humble food cart and bring our brick and mortar dream to life (from the box to the Hox lol)! And just like they’ve been amazing partners to us, they’re not the only ones and it truly takes a village. @mesopdx (shout out to our rep Collin!) has been immensely profound in our growth. With them we were able to take a dream and actually create something tangible with solid business resources, connections to funding and strategies that make it possible for a small business to operate like a big one.

This Thursday we’re honored to be part of the MESO Takeover Taste event with the @heathmanhotelpdx culinary team. We’ve come up with an inspired curated menu that we can’t wait to share with y’all. Tickets are limited and available via the link in bio. It’s a full-circle moment for us to have evolved with the help of MESO and now being able to support in fundraising their mission of helping entrepreneurs launch, grow, and sustain successful businesses. Join us in furthering this mission by attending the event and seeing more businesses grow!
