POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Sunday Musings All😊❤️💖

This morning I think about micro joys - and this one from me today - I think so many of us spend so much energy chasing those "BIG" Moments of JOY - yet if we can stop and appreciate the micro joys we have in life - we will dramatically enhance our well-being xx

It's a long weekend and would love to hear where you are appreciating the small moments in your life xx by @pamelacominos

Every woman running a business - needs to read this...

You're running a business on your own with staff and also caring for children, family, pets and everything else ...🫤

The research is clear: this double load is the number one thing silently killing your business health ( and dare I say your health) ❤️‍🩹and your profitability💲

So this week- do this:

Audit every task you did in the last 7 days- business AND home - and find one thing you can hand off, pay for, or simply stop doing.🤚

✔️Get someone else to clean your home..... #housecleaner
✔️Order home cooked meals @dinneronthetable Rachel Golding (Mayes), PhD
✔️ask your partner to help with the shopping, cleaning, picking up the kids ... you get my drift..😂

You didn't build a business to run yourself into the ground - there is a better way.

I’ve done this for the past 5 years and it made my marriage bulletproof.🛡️

Keeping your relationship healthy matters more than we think, because the quality of our intimate relationship influences our happiness, our health, and even our financial safety🛟

For the past 5 years, I’ve done one simple thing every week - a 30-minute “healthy life” check-in. It’s not complicated- but it is intentional. It’s a space to talk openly, where nothing is left unsaid.

PS: If you’re not creating space for honest authentic conversations…don’t be surprised if miscommunication and disconnect surfaces☹️🥺 by @pamelacominos

Being brilliant at your craft and being good at business are not the same thing.

Nobody tells you that when you start. The best physio I know drowns in admin. The most talented designer I know undercharges everyone. It’s not a capability problem - it’s a leadership gap.

And it’s fixable.

✨ Building a Business That Gives You Freedom✨

I attended a workshop with HERA Women recently and I have been reflecting on it ever since.

There is something incredibly powerful about being in a room full of successful, driven women — all building, growing and navigating their own businesses.

As someone still in the earlier stages of my business journey, I found it both inspiring and grounding. Being around women who are running established businesses is not just motivating, it is necessary. It brings clarity, perspective and direction.

A few key reflections that stayed with me:

💡 Build a business that gives you freedom
💡 You cannot grow what you cannot step away from
💡 Being “busy” is not the same as being strategic
💡 Without systems, growth creates complexity — not freedom
💡 People buy into vision, leadership and clarity

💡 The 7 Pillars of Business:
Leadership • Sales • Marketing • Operations • People • Products & Services • Profit

It was a great reminder that a strong business is not built on creativity alone — it is built on structure, clarity and intentional design.

For me, this reinforces why I do what I do through @waiyindesigns — creating not just beautiful events, but meaningful experiences and strategies that support long-term growth.

Grateful to @pamelacominos for creating this space and for the opportunity to connect with such exceptional women: @sophiebphotography.au, @josephine_eve_stylist , @heinna.reyes, Sharon Bae, @your_sanctuaryspace , Polina Kesov, @abigail.elza , lza Widjaja.

These are the rooms that shift your thinking.

Hustle without strategy is just exhaustion with a good story.
I spent years working harder instead of smarter until I built the frameworks that actually changed things. You deserve the same.
