In Your Dreams gives me hope that all of that overthinking in your head that tells you you’re going to fail? It’s just thoughts in your head and it’s not real. Even if you do fail, you will still have your family and friends around you that love you no matter what and they don’t care even a tiny bit that you failed. They will always support you and be there for you so you’ll have to try to let them in too.

Madison has had enough of New York. She had thought that leaving her small town and pursuing her dreams in new York would be everything she ever wanted. But now more than ever, she is homesick but is so afraid to be seen as a failure if she moves back home. When the perfect opportunity arrives for her to be the head chef at a new farm-to-table restaurant at her hometown, Rome, Kentucky, she agrees. But there’s just one little hurdle, the owner of the restaurant is James Huxley, her brother’s best friend, and the last person she ever wants to work with.

This feels like a reminder that you are so lovable and you deserve to be loved so much. I am crying right now because the way Sarah Adams always write books on topics that I’ve been feeling about at exactly the right time TRULY needs to be studied.

The romance in this book is so comforting! I love the playful banter between Madison and James! Istg they’re so funny together and it feels like they matched each other freak 🤭 the chemistry is so palpable even through the words on my screen! The way James yearns for her!!!! So many lines are highlighted in this book lol here’s one (more like two) of my favourite:

“I don’t think you understand just how much I’d be willing to do to make you happy, Madison.”

“Yearning doesn’t skim the surface of it. For a decade, I’ve been
dying inside, wanting you.”

This book is so so worth the wait I will forever be a hype woman for the Rome, Kentucky series!!!

The Knight and The Moth 🪦 - Rachel Gillig

I was immediately captivated right from the start! The way Rachel Gillig writes is so satisfying, it reminds me time and time again that THIS IS WHY I LOVE READING!! Because I am immediately transported into the world and it literally feels like I was with them going on these adventures.

Sybil Delling is a diviner, she has spent the last 9 years of her life dreaming of omens that could tell people of good or bad portents. When she and her sister diviners almost finish their service, a new king and his knights came to the cathedral. Rodrick ‘Rory’ Myndacious has no respect for the act of divination, but when her sister diviners disappear one by one, Sybil has no other choice than to ask for help from Rory in finding them.

The way the author craft this story is so satisfying, it makes you feel like you’re going on a quest with the characters, the way every single detail is described is just perfect! I honestly would not dare challenge you on your craft, Rachel Gillig. I think that every single aspect of the story is very well thought of and I truly appreciate that the explanations for how things are the way they are in this book is told very thorough.

I love the characters so much, Sybil and Rory’s chemistry is undeniable, but can we talk about Sybil and the Gargoyle’s chemistry?! I love them both so much!! The gargoyle is so funny and so wise and literally a perfect character to have in this book and he is literally what makes this book a hundred percent better! Rory oh the knight you are!!! I am obsessed—I truly mean that—with Rory!! Honestly how can you not after you read the quote that I left above, said by him?!

I highly highly recommend everyone to read this book! I am so excited for the next one, I will be waiting (impatiently😉) This book make me also conclude that if Rachel Gillig writes it, I am going to read it!

Meet Me at Moonlight 🌙 - Gemma Nicholls

Gemma Nicholls never disappoints!! This one is so heart warming and following the story of Millie and Duke is so comforting for me. If I can describe this book in one word, I think the perfect one is romantic!

Millie and Duke has been best friend for the longest time when suddenly Duke left to chase his dreams as a footballer without a goodbye. Now 10 years later, he is back in town and tries to win back his first love.

Do you know that feeling when you read a book that just flows you don’t even realise how long you have been reading? That’s how I felt when I was reading this book! I was so invested in Millie and Duke’s journey on being together again that I think I finished this in like 2 days (mind you I work full-time🙈)??? Also a plus point, there’s no third-act breakup!!!!! If you know me you know I HATE/DESPISE third-act breakup so I LOVEEEE this book for not making me go through that 🤭!

I love Millie, she’s such a bubbly and lovable character I wish I had as a friend! Also love the friend group 🤭 and Duke!!!! This man is literally the greenest flag that has ever existed. He’s so down bad for Millie and it’s actually so obvious!! Love the fact that Millie and Duke’s ritual includes watching sad movies together so they can cry together?! How cute!!!!

Overall, I highly recommend anyone to pickup this book! It comes out this week on May 9th so make sure to grab your copy💜 by @pan.reads

Fearless 🗡️ - Lauren Roberts

It took me full 2 weeks after finishing this book to finally sit down, gather my thoughts and write a review for this book.

Following right after where the second book left off, Paedyn is now faced with possibly the hardest and life-altering decision of her life, or maybe this time, she doesn’t have the privilege to choose as her path is already lined up for her. She knows who her heart belongs to but they can never be able to be together, can they?

The emotional rollercoaster that this book put me through is something that I truly love from this book. This is such a great finale for the trilogy! I enjoyed every single second of this book and it made me want to keep reading even until late at night, and at the same time want to try to read it slowly because it is the last book in the trilogy and i want to savour it even more.

The characters! The pov of Edric the king really adds so much into the story, I hate him so much and getting his pov just solidify my hatred for him lol. Also Kai, the (fictional) man that you are, the poet, the lover, the enforcer, I love him sm 🤭

As someone who absolutely LOVED Adena and Mak’s story in Powerful, this book broke my heart in a million pieces, like why am I crying over fictional characters this much 😭

Overall, this trilogy holds a special place in my heart, I think this is one of the first ever romantasy trilogy that I have followed since the release of the first book, made me giggling kicking my feet and reminded me of how I felt reading wattpad stories when I was a teenager, it is cringey but I love it! Highly recommend if you want to start reading romantasy books~ by @pan.reads

When her grandmother falls and broke her hip, she comes up with a plan to spend a peaceful summer back at that cottage with her. But as soon as they arrive, their peace is disrupted by the sounds of a familiar yellow boat, and the man driving it, Charlie Florek. He’s a shameless flirt who manages to make Alice’s grandmother laughs and Alice long to be seventeen again. And when Alice sees his piercing green eyes looking directly on her, she’s scared because she’s never met someone who looks and sees her right back.

First of all, I was VERY nervous to read this book because I didn’t like Charlie’s character after what he did in Every Summer After. But I think he is growing on me. I love that this one is not a second chance so there is no past-present jump that I think most of Carley’s books have. One thing about Carley Fortune is it is going to be descriptive so that I can vividly picture what’s going on in the book in my head as clear as day. I didn’t realise I really want to be back in Barry’s Bay (fictionally, of course) until I read this book!

Also, I have forgotten how big of a flirt Charlie is that I am chuckling on every single word that come out of his mouth. I do think that Alice Everly play a HUGE part in making me love this book more, I feel like I can relate to how she’s feeling. I think she is a very good character. I love Nan, she makes me miss my grandma so much <3, we used to be so close too. I also lowkey love Alice’s family. I feel like I understand their family dynamic so much.

It’s been a while since I’ve felt this giddy reading a romance book and this book has done it! I also think I like this one more than Every Summer After (is this a hot take🫣). All in all, highly recommend picking up this book! It comes out on May 8th 2025 in the UK! by @pan.reads

This book was a bit slow for me in the beginning because of the world building but right after you kind of get the grasp of what is happening, I promise you, you’ll not be able to put it down.

As a siren, celeste always has been more emotional than others. Being the youngest daughter of the siren queen, her life is controlled. Being in the Chorus, an elite group of siren warriors is the only way she’s hoping to prove her worth. But when a seemingly harmless ship treads the siren territory, Celeste, believing the sailor to be innocent, decides to save the human prince which is the captain of the ship, Raiden Sharp. She knows he is the son of the king who murdered many of her people, still she defies the very law they have been taught to obey. She knows the penalty for this betrayal is death, but when her mother decides to give her a chance to right her wrong by assassinating the prince, having no other choice, Celeste decides to become a human and set on her mission so that she can come home. But when the charming prince and his crew show her kindness and friendships, would she be able to finish her mission?

I love the micro-tropes that are in this book!! enemies to lovers, forbidden love, forced proximity, found family, calls her ‘love’, “touch her and i’ll k*ll you”?! SOLD! Having an emotional and soft-hearted female main character in fantasy is so rare so I am so happy to see that representation in this book! It gives off the little mermaid inspired story and i love that!!

The writing was very easy to follow and keeps you engaged. The plot was at times predictable but I never saw that ending coming!! I was honestly shocked to read that and because of that, though I know this book is not even out yet, i just want to say that I NEED the second book!!!! I need to know what happens next!!

Having said all of that, I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for a YA romantasy that’s cosy but also high stakes? the vibes are very immaculate though so it feels cosy for me. by @pan.reads

First-Time Caller 📞 - B.K. Borison

“I like that. Thinking that I’m worth paying attention to.”

This book was so comforting and validating for me (as a hopeless romantic that actually don’t think i’ll ever be able to find the one) 🥹

The plot is inspired by the movie Sleepless in Seattle (he’s a radio host and she’s a mechanic that has a daughter) and I loved that movie so I was so excited to read this book!! It definitely did not disappoint! It rightfully lived up to the hype!!

I love the characters and the way they’re written! I feel like I can relate to both Lucie and Aiden so much that whenever I read their inner thoughts, I keep highlighting it so I think I have highlighted almost every page in the book 🙈 I also LOVE patty, grayson, and maya’s character!! I am so excited knowing that we’ll also get Jackson’s story next!! I love his character in this book!

The last few chapters made me teared up a bit getting to know Aiden’s story because I feel it so deeply, I can somehow relate to what he’s been through so this book truly, helps me in somehow validating the feelings I’ve felt too. I love love and I am a hopeless romantic like Lucie but I am also afraid of it, and feel like it doesn’t really exist? like Aiden. I think this is the first time I have ever been able to relate to BOTH characters in a book like this! The author did such a great job in writing these characters!!

Overall, amazing book, I’d highly recommend to anyone that wants to read romance with some like life lessons on love because this book is literally perfect for it!! If anyone has read this book please leave a comment on what you think of it! I’d love to know your thoughts and chat about it!

The Rebel Witch 🦋- Kristen Ciccarelli

I couldn’t stop reading after the ending of the first book so I just HAD to read this one immediately! This was such an epic conclusion to The Crimson Moth duology!!! To say I am obsessed is an understatement, I totally get all the hype and I fully support it!!

The plot was predictable but did I ate up every single second of it? Yes, Yes I did. The feelings that I felt while reading this book is something that I haven’t felt in a while. To read a romantasy duology that’s done this good is just such an amazing feeling for me

I absolutely love Rune and Gideon, the tension, the angst, the yearning!!!! Literally everything I want in a romantasy and more! The little bit of found family trope also got me SO good.

I feel like The Crimson Moth duology is basically what romantasy really is. Like I honestly do not know how any of you that read the first one when it came out could wait until the second book 😭 I love the resolution in the book, I think everything is tied up very nicely by the end. I hope Gideon and Rune can live happily ever after 🥹
