POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

18 years as a cop, and I almost didn’t make it. Growing up in the Bronx, influenced by friends and environment, I could have gone a totally different route. Thank God I learned to love myself first. Then, I could truly serve and love the communities I protect.

Counting down 20 years of service as an NYPD officer? See each day as getting closer to your next chapter. It's a blessing, not a sentence. Shift your perspective; you're closer than you think.

It took 4 years to become NYPD. But I never lost focus. It was the only option in my mind. I visualized it, and felt it.

THANK GOD ITS MONDAY!! 🚀

I was stressing all weekend about having to pay a copay at the dentist office.

Come to find out, the dentist's office tells me I don't have to pay anything because the insurance has covered the cost of the visit.

I definitely know I'm not alone in this struggle with financial stresses

The lesson for me, as well as hopefully the lesson for others, is to plan accordingly and do a better job at budgeting your money: what you spend and what's a priority. Be grateful for the benefits that you have for the hard work you put in, in whatever line of work you do.

As a wise woman once told me, "You're not broke. You're just temporarily out of cash."

Thank you Mom for that wise advice. @milliemartinez.mm taken in New York, New York by @pandarocketdan

He flipped out because I didn't know how to get to the store. Cursing me out like it was my fault I didn't know where to go.

Lesson 5: Panda Rocket. 2022-2023 was rough. Workplace conflict and anxiety made it tough. But we learned to navigate it.
