It was fun meeting Sam at @harajukudayla, a celebration of Harajuku fashion in Little Tokyo.

“I am So Cal born n raised, currently living near East LA. I do Scenic Carpenter in theatre

“First time at Harajuku Day!! and I love the diversity of attendees in style and background and body shapes. And everyone had cool makeup too

“That coord was an amalgamation of all the ott sweet pastel rainbow I have collected in my closet thus far. I'm very new to dressing in Lolita/decora and my wardrobe is still small but the dress hoodie from My Violet is my favorite cutesy comfy jacket. My hair is a faded attempt at a rainbow bang with half of all the hair clips I own, and my makeup is a puppy wing gyaru inspired goth -ish look that I usually have regardless of my outfit. Lots of clashing styles but it's all very me! Bright and pastel colors make me feel cute and happy and showing off my small collection of clothes and accessories is my pride and joy.

“It was my first time being at a j-fashion event dressed up and I was a little worried I wasn't going to fit in or look out of place but I got so many compliments from strangers and had a lot of nice conversations with super cool people. I feel very thankful to be part of such a great community of such fashionable people!!”

Hey did you vote yet? If not, you can walk with us to drop off your ballot at the Jackie Lacy Must Go protest this Wednesday at 4 in front of the Hall of (in)Justice!
Already voted? Awesome! We're gonna be going door to door after a rally at El Sereno Community Garden starting at 10 am Sunday, there's gonna be food and coffee to get u pumped up!!
Looking for a way to get ur unhoused community members some food? Me too!! Eastside Cafe in Sereno is going to be opening a Fridge and the meeting starts at 11am on Saturday!
Wanna help bring more focus to police corruption and honoring the lives that have been stolen? Please attend the Say Their Names LA march from the Arts District to the LAPD headquarters, we're going to be carrying all 622+ "gravestones" of people murdered by police in LA County during DA Jackie Lacy's term and not a single one of their murderers have been prosecuted. We'll definitely need your support and help.
This work is not over!! DM me and I can give you more info on these events I'll be attending !! taken in Los Angeles, California by @panicpractice

We're going to be demanding the Board of Supervisors to reopen my brothers case. Police are not above the law! There is no reason my brother should have been killed a year ago. If you're free, come out and support us tomorrow Oct 20 at 12 noon,
