“First time at Harajuku Day!! and I love the diversity of attendees in style and background and body shapes. And everyone had cool makeup too

“That coord was an amalgamation of all the ott sweet pastel rainbow I have collected in my closet thus far. I'm very new to dressing in Lolita/decora and my wardrobe is still small but the dress hoodie from My Violet is my favorite cutesy comfy jacket. My hair is a faded attempt at a rainbow bang with half of all the hair clips I own, and my makeup is a puppy wing gyaru inspired goth -ish look that I usually have regardless of my outfit. Lots of clashing styles but it's all very me! Bright and pastel colors make me feel cute and happy and showing off my small collection of clothes and accessories is my pride and joy.

“It was my first time being at a j-fashion event dressed up and I was a little worried I wasn't going to fit in or look out of place but I got so many compliments from strangers and had a lot of nice conversations with super cool people. I feel very thankful to be part of such a great community of such fashionable people!!”

Honoring My Brother Antonio Ibanez – Seeking Support for His Final Resting Place and Update on Case.

Hello, my name is Reggie, and I am Antonio Ibanez’s youngest brother. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart as we approach his memorial date, still fighting for justice in his name.

Antonio’s passing wasn’t just a tragedy—it was a wrongful death caused by excessive force from the Montclair Police Department. To this day, we are still seeking justice, refusing to let his story be forgotten.

When we went to Rose Hills to purchase a cemetery plot for Antonio’s ashes, my mother was convinced by the seller to make monthly payments instead of paying it in full. This has placed an unexpected financial burden on our family, and we are asking for any support to help us pay off the remaining balance so we can finally lay Antonio Ashes.

@familiesunited4justicenetwork & @aclu_calaction helped us get up to Sacramento this weekend to lobby for #SB852 (stop ICE agents from entering peoples home by lying and saying they're probation officers) #AB742 (End K9 force, dogs can be used as bomb sniffing or search and rescue but Not to maim and bite civilians) #AB793 (stop reverse demands: police should not be able to surveil private data from the public) #AB920 & #ACA10 (housing status as a protected class-which makes people with no address able to apply for food stamps and library cards -- and to create housing as a human right, which forces homelessness from a punishable crime to instead a policy failure) dm me for more information or questions about these bills!
We were able to meet new impacted families in northern California as well as lobby with Stanford law students and ACLU advocates in front of Senators, Assembly members, and their staff. A truly humbling experience, and we are so greatful to @elviameza @uncle_bobby_x and the other tireless activists who helped us gain the courage to promote these life saving bills.
