One of the core goals of the Kinder Rave has always been to create a space where parents can also express themselves, in an environment that is fun for the entire family. Most of our music comes from parent DJs. Other parents contribute their own creative talents to each rave: from artistic decorations, to activities, to food and organization.

So it was a natural progression this Spring when we had the idea for a newsletter dedicated to highlighting stories of parents following their creative passions amidst the daily adventures of family life. In our most recent issue, we spoke to @panos.blachord, a Berlin-based DJ and producer who first started learning to make electronic music at home when the pandemic arrived and he already had a 3 year-old.

Today Panos has had his music released by labels in Mexico and Europe, and he regularly plays gigs around Berlin and beyond. He’ll be at tomorrow’s Kinder Rave at @strawanzerei.berlin, so be sure to stop by and hear some of his set.

You can read our interview with Panos, or listen to it as a podcast, at the link in our Stories or by typing parentsounds.substack.com into your browser. Be sure to check out our previous interviews with other creative parents and subscribe to get future newsletters in your inbox.

Thanks to Panos for a great interview and for his ongoing support of the Kinder Rave!
