i got a chance to make a paper cut portrait for Big B and his daughter. my dad got to meet him and present this personally🥰

my dad told him how they both share a special love for their daughters & that’s why he asked me to make a portrait of the two of them. he was so impressed with this unique art and kept asking curious questions🥰

he signed a printed version of this portrait for us and promised to collect the paper cut frame and display it in his office😋

this commission went on for 3 whole months 🧚🏼‍♀️
.
it was really fun to explore a piece where the client wanted a solid background to the paper cutting. i usually like to keep it transparent, sandwiched between two glass pieces for the intricacies to really stand out. for this piece i tried to give it a 3d effect by leaving some parts unstuck from the bg. i kinda think it looks good no? posting detailed pictures soon 💖
