Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to comment, share Jenny’s story, share your own experiences with us, pray for our family, or support her children.

When my sister Christina recorded that video of Jenny & Eliana, she only intended for it to be a sweet memory the kids could have and look back on someday. We shared it with friends and family never expecting it to reach beyond that.

Our brother David is not on social media and did not know we had created this GoFundMe until one of his friends told him yesterday. Right now, he's simply grieving his wife & doing his best to be there for their for the 5 kids.

The kindness people have shown has meant more to our family than we can explain. Whether you donated, shared the page, left a message, told us your own story, or simply kept Jenny’s family in your thoughts, we are incredibly grateful.

There really aren’t words for this. This morning, we lost our sister in law Jenny after more than a year of fighting cancer with everything she had.

Jenny’s life was her family. She worked in the medical field, raised five beautiful children, and loved those kids fiercely. First came Ian, then David, Noah and Emilio, and finally her baby girl, Eliana. After four boys, she was so happy to finally have her little girl. Eliana is only two years old now, and the thought of her growing up without her mama is heartbreaking.

What stands out most to our family is that even near the end, Jenny was still Jenny.

A couple days ago, when she barely had the energy to talk, she still asked me, “How’s Sienna? How’s the baby? Love onto that baby.”

She was facing the end of her own life, and she was still asking about my daughter.

That says so much about the kind of person she was.

And what I’ll always remember most is what mattered to her until the very end: her children.

Make sure my kids are okay.
Take care of my kids.
Be there for my kids.

She fought because she wanted more time with them. More birthdays. More ordinary days. More hugs. More chances to watch them grow into the people they’re going to become.

That is the part that is so hard to make sense of.

Five kids lost their mom today. A husband lost his wife. Brothers, sisters, parents, family and friends lost someone they loved deeply. And five children now have to carry their mom’s love with them for the rest of their lives.

Your fight is over now, Jenny. You don’t have to worry anymore.

In 2024 I paid $0 in personal federal income tax. Legally. Here's how.

I own an Airbnb cabin in Big Bear. I paid about $3,700 for a cost segregation study. It moved about $108K of the property into faster write-offs (5 and 15 years instead of 39).

That made the cabin show a big loss on paper, even though it was making money.

The STR rule: if the average guest stays 7 days or less and you put in the real hours running it yourself, that loss can offset your other income.

It wiped out my federal income tax for 2024, and I got $18,461 back.

That money was either going to the IRS or into a property I own. I picked the property.

Our 6 week beginner Jiu Jitsu program starts October 6th and is built for adults with little to no experience.

You’ll learn the fundamentals you actually need to feel comfortable on the mat, including basic positions, escapes, submissions, takedown basics, how to control someone safely, and how to move without feeling completely lost.

We’ll cover things like mount, side control, guard, back control, simple escapes, basic chokes and arm locks, plus how to train safely with a partner.

$99 gets you all 12 classes, and if you decide to continue after the course, that $99 is credited toward your first month.
