PLEASE READ: During peak summer season next couple weeks (due to being a small venue) we ask all reservations to please not arrive before your reservation time. We additionally also ask all reservations to leave the venue after your reservation. For example, after an early sitting we can’t have 50 ppl go out onto footpath and drink when we have 50 ppl drinking waiting for their table for later sitting. It just gets messy and is impossible task to manage. We want to give the ppl who are reserved diners our utmost attention, and provide them the very best service, fastest delivery times possible. After a quick hiatus, Paradiso reopens March 6th with a very exciting young chef and an exciting addition to the paradiso family, more on him to come. We will be dropping new menu items gradually into the paradiso menu as we battle test them the next few weeks. Bookings are now open online. Paradiso team will go on annual break after this week right as @playabodega returns from holidays this Friday. Our last night is this Saturday 7th.

During this time we will also be seeking a new head chef as our current chef is coming off sponsorship. If any chefs out there are looking for a great gig working 4 days a week with high remuneration please contact us directly.

Paradiso Izakaya is an absolute gem tucked away in one of Australia’s most underrated coastal towns.

From the first sip, the Whiskey Sour cocktails set the tone—balanced, sharp, and exceptionally well executed. The food followed suit. We started with the betel leaf, pork and Sichuan dumplings, and chicken bao buns—each dish full of flavour, perfectly textured, and clearly made with confidence and restraint.

For mains and share plates, the pork belly was rich and indulgent without being heavy, the cauliflower delivered real depth and crunch, and the eye fillet was cooked beautifully, letting the quality of the beef do the talking.

What really makes Paradiso stand out is the contrast—finding food of this calibre and creativity in a relaxed, coastal town like Yamba feels like a genuine bonus. It’s polished without being pretentious, and exciting without trying too hard.

A must-visit if you’re anywhere near Yamba—this is coastal dining done right. by @paradisoxo

On this beautiful Sunday afternoon (in the video) I was on the beach on an Indonesian island on annual break from Paradiso whilst ‘some’ local hero decided it was time to place a stern warning on my life at my business window. The genius didn’t realise we have 6 cameras running 24/7.

This was months ago but still can’t work out who it is - if anyone knows anyone who recently got rid of a white Pajero and walks like a fat hobbit, i can assure you it would be a great idea to avoid him in the community at all costs. taken in Paradiso Restaurant + Bar by @paradisoxo
