I'm done with our tree! It's a labor of love - 36 hours of work, 1800 lights, hundreds of ornaments, and 100 feet of hand-beaded wood garland - all for my love of decorating and my favorite holiday: Christmas! 🎄#bluechristmas #christmastreedecorating #peacock taken in Farmington, Minnesota by @paralleldesignworksmn

I have added a new skill/service to my repertoire - 3D modeling and rendering! This is a kitchen I designed for my portfolio and now I get to see it come to life! The fun part is I can change finishes and give it an entirely new look. I decided to give it a more moody/masculine vibe this time.

If you're a designer and you want 3D renderings done for your next project, feel free to contact me so we can discuss details.

It's so nice having my office buddy back! He was at obedience and bird/gun training for 8 weeks, which seemed like a year! taken in Farmington, Minnesota by @paralleldesignworksmn

The first batch of camping chili is simmering on the stove! What a perfect day for it. I am really wishing that my Dad and brother were physically here to help prepare, taste, and savor it with us! I know my brother, in particular, would totally dig the camping and chili-making experience! They are here in spirit, for sure! 😇🤗😋 by @paralleldesignworksmn

Working while camping: When you run your own business and there are looming deadlines, you may as well make the best of it! I'm still going to relax and enjoy my weekend, though...starting tomorrow. #bossladyrules #worknowplaylater #dedicatedemployee by @paralleldesignworksmn

Hotel life! I'm out of town for two meetings and spending the night at a hotel. Why not get prepared for my meeting tomorrow with a salad, followed by some junk food and Hallmark Fall movies! 🤣 taken in Sioux Falls, South Dakota by @paralleldesignworksmn

I have had a lot of work come in the last couple of weeks, and I have been working some late nights and weekends. Today, Jeff made me my favorite breakfast. 😍 He's been great about supporting me while I work extra hours. 🥰 I'm grateful for all the work and looking forward to NOT working next weekend! by @paralleldesignworksmn

We have a new office mate! Meet Sid (Vicious): He's almost 4 months old, and he's a German shepherd mix. It's normal to go out to do some grocery shopping and come home with a puppy instead, right? 🤣 Rocky will have to train him in on office procedures and teach him that everything in mom's office is NOT a chew toy. 😳 taken in Farmington, Minnesota by @paralleldesignworksmn
