Thank you so, so much to Rick beato and his team for your visit us. It was completely unexpected for me! What you do is important, showing people what exists behind music, its depth, its history, the philosophies that shape it, what inspires it, the science involved, the ephemeral and the tangible. Somehow, all these things meet in music, and you find a way to give them a place in your videos. Thank you for bringing your curiosity, for interviewing us, and for doing the work you do. And thank you so much to my Noble & Cooley family, Luke (Luciano), Ian (Ianardo), Nick (Nicanor), and Nick (Nicardo). Being surrounded by you every day is a blessing. Learning, sharing, teaching, joking around, fighting to make it possible and laughing together is priceless to me. I feel incredibly fortunate, and I love you so much guys. Parra Drums continues to evolve naturally. It remains a drum brand, but it is also becoming a design house, which feels completely natural because designing is probably what I love doing most. Just to add to what I was saying in the video: I believe our ability to design is one of the things that defines us as human. We imagine what does not yet exist, then use our minds and hands to bring it into the world. Design has shaped our history, our evolution, and the way we inhabit the world. Evolution shaped us, and somehow we became capable of shaping things in return. Maybe that is the beautiful paradox of design, sometimes it feels almost more human than humanity itself. We are the result of a process of creation, yet we became creators ourselves. by @parradrums

La batería también tiene melodía. 🥁 Ricardo Parra @parradrums propone dejar de pensar el tambor únicamente desde el ritmo o desde si suena “gordito y sabroso”. Cuando graba, piensa en tonalidad, armónicos y en cómo cada tambor convive con la canción. Porque quizás el problema no es que un armónico moleste. Quizás el problema es que no está integrado. We really enjoyed the visit last week from @freddysheed and @joecoxdrums We got to talk shop, try out many snares, and show them several prototypes we have in the works that are nearing completion. And Freddy got to pick up a 4.75x14 Alloy as well. Can’t wait to hear him make it sing.
