On September 12, the Cotton Bowl hosted something special. 🏈 The inaugural Roland Parrish Classic (@parrishclassic) brought four state championship programs to Fair Park: DeSoto vs. Duncanville and South Oak Cliff vs. North Shore.

The Parrish Charitable Foundation (@parrishcharitablefoundation) also hosted expos on college, careers and financial empowerment, health and wellness, STEM, and voter registration, connecting students and families with resources right in the stands.

It was a day North Texas won't forget. 💙

LIKE FATHER & LIKE SON - SOME MOMENTS ARE BIGGER THAN SPORTS!!!🔥🔥🔥

The Parrish Family’s legacy Mr. Roland Parrish and Ro Parrish was amazing to see and experience! These great men of excellence, service, education, and opportunity blessed The League’s commentating table with sharing their heart on the game, the community and why making a lasting impact on generations to come is a mission they live in action!

It was an honor for The League to be part of the inaugural Parrish Classic @parrishclassic @parrishcharitablefoundation @roparrish bringing families, athletes, schools, and community together around a vision that is bigger than the game.

This is legacy. This was community. This is impact.

The League is ALL IN. 🏆

Four state championship programs on one field, thousands of families in the building. 🏈🏟️

Yesterday, the Run It Up! Foundation partnered with the @parrishclassic as part of its Health and Wellness Expo at the @cottonbowlstadium, bringing cardiovascular education, mental health and financial wellness resources to families from across Dallas.

Our thanks to Roland Parrish and the Parrish Classic for a day that holds football, education, and health in the same tradition, and to @theleaguehsn for the on-field conversation about the Foundation’s work.

This work runs all year around and there’s a place in it for you. Link in bio.

This is why we Run It Up!
