I try to get up this hill at some point during every harvest. There are some lovely routes up and it gives you cracking views of this very special area. We’ve got other plots further afield and the Pyrenees are in the other direction offering more spectacular visuals, but this is where I feel most at home when I’m in Spain. For me, it’s the beating heart of #Somontano. by @pasoprimero

Welcome to the jungle!

After a few weeks on the sales trail I’m back in cellar for harvest pack down. Today was all about getting reacquainted with the wines I left behind. It’s amazing what a couple of weeks can do and I’m so happy to be excited about our wines in a very tricky vintage. A decade of good decisions have definitely paid off.

38hrs in Dublin (and counting - thanks @ryanair).

A whirlwind trip to see our friends @cassidywinesdac before jetting back to Spain & @batandesalas for the harvest pack down.

Huge thanks to @kari.stores, @blackrock_cellar, @searsonswine, @seashantyblackrock, @hkwineagencies, and so many more for hosting, tasting, and making me feel so welcome.

At the current rate I won’t be getting to my hotel until 4am so #prayforTom. by @pasoprimero

What a weekend!

Genuinely feel more tired than any point during harvest, but we had an incredible time at @afoodfestival. So lovely to see you all and share our wines.

Couldn’t have done it without @visualcreationsbyemma. It felt amazing to have Mrs Paso in the trenches with me.

And huge thanks to @ollysmith & @kate_hawkings for stopping by. Your enthusiasm and encouragement was exactly what we needed to keep us going.

Very excited to be packing the Paso Wagon ready for @afoodfestival. A rare weekend of pouring Paso with the woman who helped make it all possible @visualcreationsbyemma.

Not sure if we’ll be dancing with @ollysmith & @matt.tebbutt again, but we’ve got the wines so hopefully the vibes will follow.

Worth coming home for.

Back in the UK for a couple of festivals starting with the @slowfoodludlow team at @ludlowfood.

Always great working the bar with @gindifferentbar but even better today thanks to the insanely delicious @shropshiresalumi scotch eggs from @tallyho.bouldon.
