MONSTER: A Passable Art Show 👻
What is a monster?
Creatures that lurk in the dark. The things with too many teeth, too many eyes, or no recognizable shape at all.
Monsters can be physical. Psychological. Emotional. Social. Personal. They can be born from fear, trauma, desire, obsession, shame, rage, fantasy, folklore, nightmares, or the things we refuse to look at.
These are your demons.
Your nightmares.
Your mutations.
Your monsters.
📅 Opening: Thursday, Oct 8, 5 to 9 PM, during the Second Thursday Capitol Hill Art Walk
📍 Passable, 1005 E Union St, Seattle
✉️ Want in? Email leviclark@gmail.com by Monday, Oct 5 with your idea and 1 to 3 images

Daehwa (대화): Communication, Breakdown, and Mending 🧵✨

An Exhibition by Ren Han (수연) featuring Cam Smith

How do we repair relationships after communication breaks down?

Opening September 10, 2026 at Passable, Daehwa (meaning ‘communication’ or ‘dialogue’ in Korean) explores the delicate, perpetual mending of human connection. Interdisciplinary artist Ren Han combines tactile fiber traditions with digital art—projecting generative m visuals onto manipulated, screenprinted, and sewn textile tapestries that wear down and hold tension over time.

The exhibition also features collaborative work by fellow Passable co-resident and new media artist Cam Smith, offering an unsettling critique of consent, control, and artificial intelligence.

Join us as analog craft meets generative tech in a living dialogue about memory, tension, and collective repair.

🗓 opening: September 10, 2026, 5-9 PM

📍 Location: Passable (1005 E Union St, Capitol Hill)

🎟 Admission: Free & Open to All taken in Passable Art by @passable.art

Join us Thurs, August 13th for GO WITH THE FLOW, a remote control boat adventure with Charlie Hanacek @czhanacek #artshow #caphillseattle

A Passable Art Show at 1005 E Union St, Seattle

Opening: Thursday, Aug 13th, 2026 5pm-9pm, During the Second Thursday Capitol Hill Art Walk

Go with the flow is an art show about accountability, influence, and direction. It highlights the pursuit of goals, contrasted with their outcomes.

The interactive water table demonstrates the ripple effects of individual and collective action, constructive and destructive interference with others, universal entropy, and surrender.

All this, supported by play and whimsey.
