They shape space. They sculpt time. They transform emotion into motion, and movement is their language. Together with young people from different countries, they are building a space where dance becomes more than performance, it becomes transformation. Through weeks of shared work, they will guide our dancers toward something raw, real, and deeply personal.

The result?

‘Ostali' – an original dance theatre piece premiering on the 24th of July in BKC.

Bai Li Wiegmans

Dancer, choreographer, maker from the Netherlands, with a Bachelor’s in Theatre Dance Performance, Contemporary Urban at Fontys Academy of the Arts. For four years, Bai Li has been a part of Ohne Stimme’s artistic team. Having performed and collaborated across the Netherlands, UK, South Korea, and China, while also developing her own work HOME-家 and The Forms that Remain (receiving three awards), she is inspired by bridging her East Asian heritage with Western European upbringing, blending martial arts: Tai Chi, Shaolin Kung Fu, Wing Chun, with contemporary dance.

Bai Li is here because she believes in the power of collective creation and in the importance of cultural exchange. This project offers a space where different perspectives can meet, challenge each other, and grow together.

Stsiapan Hurski

Stsiapan moves between dance and film, searching for cinematic atmospheres on stage. He is a graduate of Folkwang University of the Arts, with four years with Folkwang Tanzstudio. Stsiapan is joining us for the first time this year and he is excited to journey together with young dancers from different countries, searching for answers collectively.

For him, this is not just an artistic process, but a human one: a space where curiosity, courage, and encounter lead somewhere none of us could reach alone. He believes we should embrace our differences, after all, that is where the most interesting things begin.

Dženita Hasečić

With over 15 years in hip-hop culture, Dženita has been devoted to building a strong dance scene in Sarajevo. She co-founded Fresh Generation, building a community where young people get introduced to movement and dance through this culture, art, theatre, and social activism. S by @passagen_

Bosnia, Sarajevo 🇧🇦❤️
Nos despedimos de Sarajevo con el corazón lleno y ya estamos de regreso a casa. ✈️

Han sido semanas intensas, llenas de encuentros, creación, convivencia, aprendizajes, retos, risas, cansancio, baile y momentos que sabemos que se quedarán con nosotros durante mucho tiempo.
Queremos agradecer enormemente @nuria_social_olot @passagen_ y a todas las organizaciones, espacios, equipos y personas que han trabajado detrás de este proyecto y que han hecho posible que estuviéramos aquí.

Gracias por abrirnos las puertas, acompañarnos, cuidarnos y confiar en este proceso. 🫶
Y, sobre todo, gracias a cada una de las personas que han formado parte de esta aventura. Nos vamos felices, agradecidos y con la sensación de haber construido algo que va mucho más allá de estas semanas compartidas.

“Passagen”, kao jedan od najvećih evropskih međunarodnih plesnih projekata za mlade, dolazi u Sarajevo. Šezdeset mladih plesača iz šest različitih evropskih država, provest će tri sedmice radeći sa međunarodnom ekipom profesionalnih koreografa na zajedničkoj premijeri plesne predstave koja će biti izvedena 24. jula, u Velikoj dvorani BKC-a, u 19h.

Ulaznice se naplaćuju u vidu dobrovoljnih donacija.

Nakon više od decenije umjetničkog djelovanja širom Evrope, međunarodni projekat “Ohne Stimme” (Bez glasa) stiže u Sarajevo s najnovijom predstavom “OSTALI”.

Riječ je o jedinstvenom plesnom kampu i pokretnoj umjetničkoj laboratoriji koja od 2013. godine povezuje mlade umjetnike iz različitih zemalja kroz zajedničko stvaranje pozorišnih
djela. Projekat se zasniva na uvjerenju da su ljudsko tijelo, pokret i muzika univerzalni jezici koji nadilaze sve kulturne i jezičke barijere.

Tema “OSTALI” nosi višestruko značenje - stanje između starog i novog, one koji su izostavljeni i gurnuti na marginu, te ustavnu kategoriju u Bosni i Hercegovini koja građane dijeli na Bošnjake, Srbe, Hrvate - i ostale. Kroz ovu metaforu, projekat preispituje cijelu
strukturu moći i nudi glas generaciji koja se osjeća politički i društveno izostavljenom.

Predstava je nastala tokom trosedmičnog intenzivnog rada više od 60 mladih umjetnika iz cijelog svijeta, koji su zajedno stvarali, učili i živjeli - gradeći opipljivu zajednicu u kojoj svaki glas, svako tijelo i svaka ideja imaju jednaku vrijednost.

OSTALI
Ambiguity. Otherness. Inat.

Estamos en la recta final de una experiencia artística y humana que difícilmente olvidaremos.

Durante estas semanas, jóvenes de Bosnia y Herzegovina, Alemania, Francia y España nos hemos reunido en Sarajevo para crear OSTALI, una pieza de danza y teatro que nace del encuentro entre diferentes culturas, historias y formas de entender el mundo.

Inspirada en el concepto bosnio de "Ostali" (Los Otros), la obra invita a reflexionar sobre quiénes quedan al margen, qué significa pertenecer y cómo podemos construir comunidades más inclusivas a través del arte.

✨ El próximo 24 de julio compartiremos el resultado de este viaje.

On wednesday we had a workshop in Goethe Institute where we met Mile Babić and talked more about the topic, the life of Dževad Karahasan and his influence to the theme of the project. Mile was a good friend of Karahasan. Other than Goethe, we visited Veliki Park, Ali Pasha’s mosque and the memorial of the children that were killed in the Siege of Sarajevo. It was a hard day for us, but a necessary one ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹
