POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

👋 It’s been a minute since we’ve shown our faces on here! If you haven’t already met us, we’re Sara and Colin, the husband and wife team behind Passion House.

Art has always run in our veins. From growing up surrounded by art and design, to creating and selling our own works, it’s been a through-line in each of our lives, both individually and as a couple.

The early years of our relationship were spent living in the PNW. There we immersed ourselves in the art and maker community. While selling our own work, we developed wonderful connections with our peers. We spent time hearing their stories, visiting their studios, and learning about their processes.

Fast forward to 2018 when we moved back to our home state of Colorado. It felt like it was time to change things up in our career life. We were so drawn to the stories of artists, and also feeling quite eager to explore our love of visual storytelling (photo and film).

So naturally an idea started to surface. An idea that would allow us to create, tell stories, form authentic connections, and lift others up. Passion House became a reality in 2019.

We started with the vision to work with artists, and took detours and learned lessons along the way. Now we find ourselves living in Santa Fe, and feeling like the true intention for Passion House is coming to life.

We’re not just in this to make cool content. We’re in it to connect, to inspire and be inspired, to grow, and to showcase why artists deserve to be appreciated and seen. This is our passion and we are grateful for all who have supported us in following this dream. Thank you for following along! 🙏

If you haven’t yet seen @ali_rouse_artist’s beaded skulls in person, we highly recommend that you do so…

As soon as possible…

In fact, you should just go check out her work at @canyon_contemporary on historic #canyonroadsantafe

Ali’s work instantly drew us in the moment we first saw her skulls when visiting Santa Fe (before we moved here). Her beadwork is absolutely stunning and intuitively designed, each piece honoring the spirit it once held. ✨We are so fortunate to get to work with beautiful soul like Ali Rouse, and we can’t wait to share more of what we’ve created together soon!

The magic is in the gathering.

For Brenda Schweder, inspiration starts long before a piece is ever finished. Her studio is filled with a carefully curated collection of mostly vintage and antique finds—objects with history, character, and just the right amount of patina.

Her process begins by pulling pieces together and creating little vignettes, playing with shape, texture, scale, and story. And then, somewhere in the arranging and rearranging, a THIS-IS-IT moment happens.

In the final video of our three-part series, step inside Brenda’s studio and see where the magic begins. 🤎

What happens when jewelry becomes more than something you wear? ✨

In Part Two of our series with Brenda Schweder, we’re taking a closer look at the evolution of her found-object jewelry—and how some of her favorite pieces were transformed to live two lives: as wearable art and as sculpture.

Because why should a beautiful object have just one purpose? Brenda’s work blurs the line between jewelry, art, and collected objects, creating pieces that are just as captivating sitting on display as they are worn.

Stay tuned for Part Three, where we go even further behind the scenes of Brenda’s creative world.

For the first time in more than a decade, internationally recognized Santa Fe sculptor Gino Miles returns to Canyon Road with a private opening at InterFusion Art. Gino has worked in both monumental and intimate scale since the 1970s, drawing on European modernism to create looping forms in polished stainless steel and bronze that shift and catch light as you move around them, an experience your screen simply can’t do justice.

The evening will include a preview of a short documentary from @PassionHouseMedia, following Gino in the studio and giving you an intimate, behind-the-scenes look into Gino’s process as he works through scale, balance, and gravity to bring one of his largest pieces to life.

Private Opening: Thursday, August 20th, 4:30-6:30pm
