What started with an intention to give back has grown into a community of thousands who believe in giving, connecting, and showing up for one another 🥹

And last night, we celebrated the very people who make it all happen. OUR VOLUNTEERS! 🔥🤍

We're not just celebrating how far we've come, but everything we're yet to build together, bi'iznillah!

This isn't just a community. It's a movement. And we're only getting started! 🚀

A beautiful reminder from today’s khutbah, centred around this hadith:

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

“Spread the salam, feed others, uphold the ties of kinship, and pray during the night while people are sleeping—and you will enter Paradise in peace.”

Four simple actions: spread peace with your tongue, give with your hands, maintain your family ties, and spend time privately with Allah while others are asleep.

The way the sheikh explained the power of salam especially hit me. When we say “Assalamu alaikum,” we’re telling that person they’re safe from our hands, our tongue, our jealousy, our envy and any harm from us.

May Allah allow us to understand these words and, more importantly, act upon them. Ameen 🤲🏾

Alhamdulillah for the blessing of being able to serve, but even more so for the people Allah has placed beside me to serve alongside 🤍

To my team.. thank you for continuously showing up, giving your time, your energy and your hearts to serve others. I pray Allah rewards you for every meal handed over, every smile shared and every act of kindness that nobody else sees 🤲🏽
