Send this to the person you want to have fondue with. 🧀 Before we forget, follow @passportpartnerstravel for more inspiring date ideas. We’ve been planning this fondue night for weeks. I had the vision: cozy blanket and pillows in front of the Christmas tree, twinkle lights glowing, our favorite bottle of red wine, French bread for dipping, and real conversation without our phones. The kind of night you look forward to all day. So we set it all up. Poured the wine. Made the fondue. And the cheese was... wrong. Like, really wrong. Stringy in a way fondue should never be stringy. We laughed. Kept dipping. Watched Roman steal a piece of French bread when we weren’t looking. And you know what? It became one of our favorite nights of the entire season. ❤️ Day 23/25 Here’s what we’re learning through all these holiday dates: the perfect Instagram moment isn’t the point. The point is showing up for each other. Creating space to actually connect. Laughing when things don’t go as planned. Making memories out of the messy, imperfect, stringy-cheese moments. We could have ordered takeout and scrolled on our phones. Instead, we sat on the floor by the tree, dipped bread in questionable cheese, and talked about everything and nothing. That’s what matters. How to create a fondue night at home: 🧀 Get the right cheese (Gruyère + Emmental - learn from our mistake!) 🍷 Open your favorite bottle of wine 🥖 Grab French bread, veggies, apples for dipping 🎄 Set up a cozy spot with blankets and pillows 🔥 Light candles or let your tree lights set the mood 💬 Put your phones away and be present The recipe might not be perfect. The cheese might get stringy. Your dog might steal bread off your plate. But if you’re together, laughing, and actually enjoying each other’s company, you’re doing it right. What’s your favorite cozy at-home date? Drop it below! 👇 If you missed days 1-22, go catch up and follow along for 2 more holiday dates. #FondueNight #DateNightAtHome #CheeseBoard #HolidayDateIdeas #ChristmasDateIdea by @passportpartnerspup
Send this to the person you need 20 uninterrupted minutes with ❄️ 3 things we stopped doing to stay connected during busy season 🎄✨ Before we forget, follow @passportpartnerstravel for more inspiring date ideas. We took 20 minutes to get outside and walk in the snow with Roman today. No phones. No agenda. Just fresh air, quality conversation, and a dog who was absolutely losing his mind over the snow. And honestly? It was exactly what we needed.❤️ Day 16/25 Here’s what we stopped doing to make space for connection:     1. Waiting for the “perfect time” - There’s never a perfect time. We just went outside for 20 minutes between everything else on our to-do list.     2. Making dates complicated - Sometimes it’s literally just a walk around the block. Get outside, breathe fresh air, actually talk.     3. Skipping it because we’re tired - Those are the days we need it most. Even 20 minutes resets everything. We talked about real stuff today. How we’re actually feeling. What we’re excited about. What’s stressing us out. The kind of conversation that gets lost in the shuffle of holiday chaos, work deadlines, and endless to-do lists. How to recreate this: ❄️ Get outside for 20 minutes (walk, play in the snow, sit on the porch) 📱 Leave your phones inside (seriously, do it) 💬 Ask each other real questions (not just “how was your day?”) 🐕 Bring your dog if you have one (Roman made it 10x better) 🎯 Make it a habit, not a one-time thing The connection isn’t about having hours or a fancy plan. It’s about actually showing up and being present, even when life feels chaotic. What’s your go-to way to reconnect when life gets busy? Drop it below! 👇 Send this to the person you want to take a walk with 🚶‍♀️ If you missed days 1-15, go catch up + follow along for 9 more holiday date ideas. by @passportpartnerspup
Send this to the person you need Christmas card photos with ASAP 📸 We tried the viral Christmas card photo trend... and well, we tried 🎄✨ Before we forget, follow @passportpartnerstravel for more inspiring date ideas. You know that trend where couples pose with a decorated box frame for their Christmas cards? We did it. With an Amazon box. And some garland. And honestly? It turned into more of a Brady Bunch situation than the aesthetic Pinterest version we were going for. ❤️ Day 15/25 We tried to get Roman in the photos too, but he was absolutely terrified of the box. Which, honestly, tracks. Boxers are more clumsy and silly than photogenic anyway, so it fits his brand perfectly. Look, our version isn’t winning any awards. But this is the kind of date that costs basically nothing, takes maybe 30 minutes, and gives you photos you’ll laugh at for years. Plus, it’s an excuse to get dressed up, embrace the chaos, and make memories while attempting your holiday cards. How to recreate this DIY Christmas card photo: 📦 Grab an Amazon box (or any large box) 🎄 Cut out the middle to make a frame ✨ Wrap it with garland and ornaments 🔗 Pro tip: Use zip ties to keep the garland in place (game changer!) 📸 Set up your phone on a timer and pose 🎅 Lower your expectations and just have fun with it 🐕 Optional: Attempt to include your dog (results may vary) The best part? Even when it doesn’t turn out “Instagram perfect,” you still had fun doing it together. And isn’t that the whole point? Have you tried this trend? Drop a 📸 if yours turned out better than ours! Send this to your Christmas card photo partner 🎄 If you missed days 1-14, go catch up + follow along for 10 more holiday date ideas. by @passportpartnerspup
Of course, he grabbed the first perfectly round pumpkin he saw while I spent 20 minutes analyzing weight distribution and structural integrity. But honestly? These $8 pumpkins gave us the same dopamine hit as our last trip to New York. Sometimes the best adventures are the ones that fit between work meetings and don’t require airport security. It’s not too late to plan a fall filled fun date. Tag your partner. Are they a “grab the first pumpkin” or “inspect every single one” type? 🎃👻 by @passportpartnerspup
