LATE POST | 2026.06.08 Cordillera Mini-Epic Challenge Part 1: The Climb to Ambuklao Dam 🏔️

Recorded the entire climb, and it felt like a waste not to share the journey! This was actually our favorite segment of the race—mostly because our skills were... lacking for the single-track sections. Hahaha! 😅

It was a day of relentless road ascents, fast descents, and one minor “bump” with a fellow cyclist. We managed to push through the whole climb with only one stop before that final, steepest kick.

LATE POST: 2025.06.08

We survived the Mini-Epic Cordillera 35km and @pat_racho’s first race! 1,000m+ of elevation gain with some brutal climbs and descents. The single-track sections were a nightmare because of the slippery moss, but the rest of the trail was a blast—even if our technical skills weren’t quite there for some of the tougher parts! 😂

Definitely had a lot of hike-a-bike moments. Haha! Not sure if we’re ready to sign up for another one just yet, but we’re willing to be part of the cheering squad next year!
