The fjord tests your courage… Carretera Austral tests your will.
The moment athletes left the water, Patagonia revealed its next chapter — a road carved between mountains, rivers, and silence. A road that never pretends to be gentle.
From the first kilometers, the winds — reaching 32 km/h — made their intentions clear, pushing riders sideways, forward, back, challenging their balance and their patience. The weather shifted like a living creature in a matter of minutes, painting the landscape in layers of mist, sudden light, and cold air that cut through every exposed inch of skin.
And then came the gravel.
Not just a section — but a reminder. A reminder that in Aysén nothing comes easy.
“I survived the Carretera Austral. Now, take me to the run.”

PATAGONMAN 2025 CHAMPIONS

Derrett Stephen and Rosie Wild, both from the United Kingdom, are the champions of the sixth edition of Patagonman.

Stephen delivered a demolishing pace at the start of the run, overtaking both Alistair Brownlee and Josh Amberger to claim victory with an impressive time of 9 hours and 6 minutes.

Rosie, representing the British Army, led the race from start to finish. Calm, focused, and fearless, she conquered the grueling course with remarkable determination, finishing in 10 hours and 27 minutes and securing an extraordinary 4th place overall among all competitors.

With this result, British triathlon continues its dominance, now boasting eight champions across all six editions.

PATAGONMAN 2025 RUSH SUMMARY

As dawn broke over the glaciers and mountains, athletes dove into the fjord beneath a dramatic Patagonian sky to begin the race.

Most of the event unfolded under a clear blue sky, surrounded by the postcard-perfect landscapes of Patagonia.

It all concluded with the magical sound of the bell. Once again, Patagonman proved to be a factory of dreams and unforgettable memories.

Sentirse parte de un equipo puede cambiar la forma en que un niño se ve a sí mismo.

Paulina Mura, de Puerto Aysén, lo cuenta desde su experiencia como mamá. Después de un tiempo difícil, su hijo encontró en Triaysén un lugar donde sentirse aceptado, acompañado y parte de un grupo. Con el deporte, llegaron también cambios en su ánimo, su confianza y su bienestar.

Detrás de ese proceso hay personas que acogen, enseñan y acompañan y una comunidad deportiva que crece en Aysén.

Apoyar a Triaysén es parte del compromiso de PATAGONMAN con la región. Porque mientras atletas de todo el mundo se preparan para llegar a nuestra largada, aquí también se construyen historias que merecen ser contadas.

Going back! @patagonman
I know…how fu@king lucky am I?!
It’s been a full on crazy year. Gravel racing, WR NC500, Ultra, more gravel racing…tonnes of travel.
But at some point after the NC500, Patagonia started to call me back. I always said it was a magical place. 🧐
Last time I won there in 2024 I really thought it would be my last visit to the race at end of the world.
But the Universe had other plans.
Now I am unbelievably excited to have another opportunity to race there in about 8 weeks time.
It’s always an incredibly special experience, and no matter what happens on race day, I know that it will be a day lived in full HD. Comfort zone nowhere in sight.
So stay tuned for Chile spam 😝
