Could think of worse ways to spend a Saturday afternoon in April… 🏔️

24hrs with James Hype in Switzerland covering 2 shows at Nendaz Ski Vibes festival and Kaufleuten nightclub in Zurich 🎥📸

Opportunities like this don’t come around often, and when it does you can’t say no. A huge thank you and shout out to @firmativehq @dumisiwo for getting me on board 🙏🏼

Thanks to my partner in crime @danieldelabastide for all the BTS and capturing my best bond villain impression on slide 1 📸

MUSIC & EVENTS 2025 SHOWREEL✨

Here we go again! Back with what I’ve been up to for the past year 📆

Last year I spoke about my creativity and content being pushed into a place that was uncomfortable, which inevitably led to me burning out multiple times. With this in mind; heading into 2025 my perspective was shifted. This year I have been able to put more focus into my existing client network, and took on less new work than I could handle, resulting in less burn out. Less agency work and better focus on client relationships. Which is the most important thing to me! 🫶

My end of year reel is pretty much the only passion project I have in my media work. Control over my own product, to create art. It has been this way for sometime… but content is king and art sometimes can get pushed out the door. 2025 had the need for: content, clips and BTS. There is less of a need for ‘art’. Therefore this is why I do this. To remind myself of the year that I’ve had, to reflect on the memories made, to create something for me 🤘🏼

In 2025 I shared significantly less work (with the exception of a few collaborations). I could put this down to the separation of my accounts but in reality it is probably a lack of motivation to market myself. That being said, it means there is less to look back on and at the end of the day this is a portfolio account. So at the start of 2026 I will be posting a top 10 of 2025 so keep your eyes on @patrickaxe.mp4 (please follow if you don’t already 🥺) for this!

2025 you’ve been a blessing in disguise. I’ve managed to travel internationally again which is something I’ve always dreamed of, and will never take for granted. Thank you to the artists & managers, marketing teams, venues & promoters, both new & old, you know who you are I thank you dearly for working with me in 2025 and look forward to working with you all again next year and beyond!

Today marks 9 years of my freelance career in digital media 😯

Something that started as a hobby playing around with my brothers camera and go pro, making edits just for the fun of it - to making a living doing something I love. The places I have been able to see, the amazing people I get to meet and work with, is something I will never take for granted.

There have been many different iterations from part-time whilst working minimum wage jobs, during education at college and university (biggest waste of time), almost defunct during covid, to being full-time. Being self-employed can be so stressful at times with ups and downs that are never consistent but if you do something that you love it rarely feels like work.

Each year my client base is growing and growing and won’t be slowing down any time soon, I’ve never felt happier with my career. Thank you to all of my past and present clients for working with me over the last 9 years, and trusting me with your visions. It feels like I’m only getting started 🙌🏼

I would love to hear any stories from the last 9 years that you have with me. Where we first met, a stand out memory, or a funny moment 🤣 let me know below 👇 by @patrickaxe.mp4

LINCOLN FRESHERS 2026. 🎬🔥

WHAT. A. WEEK.

7 DAYS. 9 EVENTS. THOUSANDS OF FRESHERS.

From huge sell-out nights and packed dancefloors to foam, paint, confetti, CO₂ and everything in between… Freshers 2026 was MASSIVE. 🤯

You came. You partied. You made Lincoln your new home.

The week might be over, but your year is only just beginning…

A side of my work I’ve never really shared properly on here… 👨🏻‍💻

For the last year, I’ve been the editor behind @mistajamreacts

Alongside videography & photography in the music & events world, I’ve been creating daily content for the channel — amongst all the other work somehow, 12 months later, we’ve made over 800 videos and almost 60million views across Tik-tok, instagram, YouTube and Facebook 📈

It’s been a pretty mad first year and I’m incredibly grateful to @mistajam for trusting me with the edits and allowing me to be part of building the channel.

Very proud of how far it’s come. Here’s to year two ☕️

📸🌲about:blank x Defender @ Lost Village 2026

Last week I was given the opportunity to photograph something simply unique but adjacent to my usual work.

LASDUN’S, a @lostvillagefestival secret VIP bar backstage at The Outpost Stage by @defender - for friends, community, artists, DJs and collaborators.

Thank you to the @about___blank team for having me on board and trusting me with their vision.

Only being about 20mins from where I live, Lost Village has forever been on my bucket list to shoot - and notoriously exclusive to work at in both artist or press capacity. So a special thank you to @jack_wilson011 & @byronduncan for making it happen!

Into the archives 📀 08.07.24 - @dj_pbh @bcmmallorca @chaseandstatus

Back to one of the craziest summers of my career. 2 return trips to Majorca in 7 days was just the start of it 😅 5 nights at BCM shooting some of the biggest names in dance music - Steve Aoki, Dimitri Vegas, Chase & Status, + many more. A major highlight shooting C&S who had been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Thank you to PBH for having me on this one 🫶 taken in BCM Mallorca by @patrickaxe.mp4

Can you believe this was my first festival I ever shot? I was honoured to get the call up to go with @pbhandjack as they joined @oliverheldens on the mainstage back in 2022. This year will forever be a core memory and is still some of my favourite photos I’ve ever taken 📸 taken in Tomorrowland by @patrickaxe.mp4
