Today is Patricia Frontain's birthday. It is also, in her own words, "the anniversary of a misguided youth taking [her] son's life." A few years ago, Patricia made this video to share who Patrick was. "The king of eighth grade," as he said.

Patricia wrote this morning that she has "a feeling that [her] guardian angel named Patrick is putting in a good work... with the powers that be."

We have some exciting news to share! Patrick Lives On has created a mentorship program for young filmmakers, and we filmed our first short yesterday. This past Friday, @patriciafrontain received a donation that, she says, "flipped a switch inside [her] in an instant." Thank you to the @chicagoadfed for the support! Patricia wrote, "receiving your donation on this particular day lifted my heart because it reminded me not of the loss, but of the gains that have come my way through the loss. It takes a village to raise a child, to grieve our loved ones and TO RUN A NON PROFIT!!! THANK YOU for being a part of our village."
