After an incredible two years, I am both sad and excited to announce that Stay’s festival run is coming to an end at this year’s @midwestfilm festival!

Stay will screen during the “10x10 Voices on the Rise” block at the @ramovachicago theatre at 7:15pm on Friday, July 24th. Stay is also nominated for best writing at the Best of Midwest Awards that will take place @cinecitystudios on July 26!

I am so proud of this film and grateful for the two incredible people @elise_murray_27 and @holdenreidmagee who played a huge part in making this film what it is. This film has done more for me than I ever could have imagined. It gave me a new understanding of storytelling, animation, film festivals, and most importantly, it has shaped my voice as a filmmaker. Keep an eye out for my three new shorts that will begin their festival run this year!

The link to buy tickets is in my bio! Hope to see you there!

🥳 TOMORROW, Thursday, May 21st, we’re entering A NEW ERA of alignment with our mission partnering with young storytellers to transform media and society.

Free Spirit Media was officially established on May 23, 2001. 25 years later, Free Spirit Community Arts + Media continues to honor a history of transformation with a more intentional focus on building a collaborative community of young Chicago creatives. THANK YOU to everyone who has shown support, and a special shoutout to our event sponsors! We couldn’t do this work without you.

There are still a few tickets left at bit.ly/freespirit25 (link in bio) and limited tickets will be available at the door. Come celebrate with us! #FREESPIRIT25🪩

It was a wonderful group of people, great films and PSAs, and all in the name of a very important cause. Thanks to @patriciafrontain and your team for all of the heart and hard work you put into this event 💜
