Honored and proud to have received an invitation to the White House from @drbiden44, #flotus44 and first Italian American to live in the White House for a celebration of Italian Heritage Month!
With a delegation of Italian leaders from all over the world, we heard Dr. Biden speak of growing up around around her Sicilian grandfather’s Domenico Giaccopa’s Sunday dinner table in South Jersey and the values she learned there of family, loyalty, and respect that she brought to the White House.
During a bella serata we shared our common culture with a festa of Italian music and food.

Honored to have been interviewed by @umbertomucci of @wetheitalians on the importance of @noiaw’s mission to connect, inspire and empower women of Italian heritage as well as the important role our common values of family and community first play in developing leadership roles and mentors for all women.

We are so happy and honored to have Pat Tinto on board with Tracing Italian Roots! 🇮🇹🇺🇸

Pat’s story is a beautiful example of how our Italian heritage can become a lifelong connection to language, culture, family, and community.

A daughter of Italian immigrants, Pat grew up with a deep appreciation for her Italian roots. She studied Italian at Barnard College and continued her studies at the Università per Stranieri di Perugia, turning her passion for the language and culture into a lifelong commitment to keeping Italian traditions and connections alive.

Through her cultural salon, ViniVittiDici, and her work in strategic communications, Pat has created opportunities for people to connect through Italian language, conversation, food, and culture.

Today, Pat serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the National Organization of Italian American Women (NOIAW), having previously served as its National President. Through NOIAW, she continues to support Italian American women, celebrate their heritage, and help strengthen the connection between generations.

Every Italian journey is different, and every story becomes an important piece of our collective history.

Consider making a donation today to NOIAW's 45x45 campaign to support our 45 year legacy engaging, educating and empowering women through their shared heritage!

If 10 women donate $100 each today, it will uplift the next generation, help provide scholarships and bring NOIAW closer to our goal! The link to support is in the comments! by @pattinto
