Alchemised 🥀 My most highly rated read of 2025.
It was dark, emotional, unpredictable.
When I heard this poem I thought immediately of Helena and Kaine.

Tell me every terrible thing you did and let me love you anyway.
Because that’s what love should be: not blind, but forgiving.
Not perfect, but patient enough to hold your darkness.

- The rest continues in PART II
I couldn’t find the author of this poem but have seen it circulating on socials, and it’s beautiful, so please comment if you know. *Update* you have let me know in the comments that the poem author is Sade Andria Zabala from her book Coffee and Cigarettes 📖

Her name was Elide Lochan
Once, her name had held a dozen meanings,
But they carved them down to one..
Lame.
Worthless.
A broken thing in a forgotten tower.
- Throne of Glass inspired fan-fiction written by The Gleam 💔✍🏼
(To be continued in Part II)

Part One of Elide’s episode, narrated by @paulathestoryteller 🎙️

Stay tuned for Part II, featuring Lorcan 👀

Part II is still in the works so tell me which scenes are a must in the comments 👇🏼

“She’d forgotten the name she’d been given, but it made no difference.
She had only one name now:
Death, devourer of worlds.”

― Sarah J. Maas, Queen of Shadows

The Maasiverse (ACOTAR × ToG) crossover we needed. 🔥
Do you remember who this Throne of Glass quote was really about? And does that energy fit Nesta Archeron/Lady Death? If not, who’s your pick and why? Drop your theory below and tag a fellow SJM fan. ✨

Watch Elide reclaim her power in Part Two of this fan fiction series.
Her story was one of the most inspiring in Throne of Glass, and I can’t wait to share the next scenes on Friday.

This is Episode Two of The Throne of Glass Fanfiction Series: Elide Lochan, Lady of Perranth. An original Throne of Glass inspired fanfiction written by The Gleam ❤️‍🔥✍🏼 Narrated by @paulathestoryteller 🎙️

What movies were filmed at this magical Underground Palace? Pay attention to the narration for more clues and how you too can also plan a fantastical photo shoot at non peak times. It is the location of books adapted to movies in some cases, mythical realities existing from 1500 years ago! #fantasy #voiceactorsofinstagram #voiceover #canadianvoiceactors #istanbul taken in Istanbul, Turkey by @paulathestoryteller

The 90s called…☎️they want their models back…Here I am now, and there I was with Sandie Savelli, enjoying working together for so many years. Sandie went on to be a successful shopping network hostess in Canada and the U.S.A. As for me, what is the path of a voice actor? There is not just one. ..and you may not know it when you’re young, and you may not have the life experience you need to portray depth of emotion. The path is unpredictable, and rich with both turmoil & struggle. There are grace periods and growth spurts. But where I started was a modelling path representing the underrepresented curvy woman. But I’ve come to know I’m more than this body or mind that keeps changing, that there is a creative spark running through what I dare to pursue. Second city comedy improvisation courses opened my eyes so much more to the value of spontaneity. Sometimes I don’t know what the outcome might be, but I’ve witnessed the miracles, doors opening and shutting. Many lessons, formal and informal, have brought me here. Grateful for the journey and the precious people that I have shared space with. Sandie and I could be spotted for decades in the media having the times of our lives. Our new adventures keep us just as busy in lovely ways. But this week, we made time for each other and it was pure joy. taken in Toronto, Canada by @paulathestoryteller

“Someday, she promised herself, someday I am going to love him in a moment that isn’t stolen”
― SenLinYu, Alchemised

Teaser for the full reel coming soon. This book was one of my best reads in 2025, beautiful and devastating. Have you read Alchemised? If so, let me know what you thought.

This is the best sunset view and chocolate cheesecake in Istanbul. The 360 Istanbul terrace is located inside the Gocman Artisan bakery opposite the Galata tower exit. Dress warm, even though there are heaters, it is windy. There are a variety of desserts. You can take an uber across the bridge to get to Galata Tower. We chose not to go inside the tower but time our sunset from the spectacular views from the 360 Istanbul Terrace. It was priceless! #istanbulturkey #voiceovernarrators #voiceactorsofinstagram #fantasybooklover #voiceactresses taken in Galata Tower - Istanbul, Turkey by @paulathestoryteller
