Alchemised 🥀 My most highly rated read of 2025.
It was dark, emotional, unpredictable.
When I heard this poem I thought immediately of Helena and Kaine.

Tell me every terrible thing you did and let me love you anyway.
Because that’s what love should be: not blind, but forgiving.
Not perfect, but patient enough to hold your darkness.

- The rest continues in PART II
I couldn’t find the author of this poem but have seen it circulating on socials, and it’s beautiful, so please comment if you know. *Update* you have let me know in the comments that the poem author is Sade Andria Zabala from her book Coffee and Cigarettes 📖

Her name was Elide Lochan
Once, her name had held a dozen meanings,
But they carved them down to one..
Lame.
Worthless.
A broken thing in a forgotten tower.

(To be continued in Part II)

📖 Inspired by Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas.
This is a fan interpretation and is not affiliated with Sarah J. Maas or the original publisher. Elide Lochan as a young girl, dressed in a flowing white gown, stands on an aged stone balcony beside her mother. The two lean over the balustrade, the child tucked close against her mother as she gently points toward the misty landscape beyond. Weathered columns frame them, and the scene carries a soft, muted, historical mood.

“She’d forgotten the name she’d been given, but it made no difference.
She had only one name now:
Death, devourer of worlds.”

― Sarah J. Maas, Queen of Shadows

The Maasiverse (ACOTAR × ToG) crossover we needed. 🔥
Do you remember who this Throne of Glass quote was really about? And does that energy fit Nesta Archeron/Lady Death? If not, who’s your pick and why? Drop your theory below and tag a fellow SJM fan. ✨

This quote gives me chills every time. It took Nesta a long time to find her strength, and I loved how we were able to follow her climb to the top both literally and figuratively. ✨

“Never again Never again would she be weak, Never again would she be at someone’s mercy, Never again would she fail, never again, never again, never again”
― Sarah J Maas

Here is a little teaser for the upcoming Nesta reel in collaboration with voice actress @paulathestoryteller . Cannot wait to share 🔥

Narrating great works inspired by their battle & hunting grounds: Lord of the Rings and ACOTAR scenery. Thanks to Rumi for the words that transcend time and offer introspection on these epic stories. This video, a little nature nudge from my friend Antonia for a different feeling on the same poem. Which one do you prefer? The book arch or a deep dive through forest & stream & nature? #fantasybookstagram #fantasybooklover #booktokersofbookstagram #voiceactorsofinstagram #voiceover #voiceovernarrators #bookstagram #voiceactresses #canadianvoiceactors #acotarinspired #acotarfans #lotrfan #lotrfans #voiceover #audiobooks
