An enormous thanks to @jaynepickeringstylist @jofonseca7 @amos.trust for organising a truly impactful fund raising lunch for Ga$an children (all the excellent food donated by @tara.wigley) at the Chelsea town hall yesterday. So many people gathering to make a difference is inspiring and hopefully encourages others. @misanharriman
Thanks to all my and @renataadelastudio guests for joining my table co-hosted by my great friend Uri Fructmann who made a very moving speech. As did @fbhutto and @mrrichardgere . All funds raised are directed to partner NGO’s on the ground in Ga$a and the W€st Bank and Southern Leb#non. @richardstrange @sibyllaphipps @valerie_sylvestre @veronicafaulks @jameshrussell @bhanitamistryrussell @brianeno @tamaravonschenk @klaartjeguirijns by @paulbenneystudios

I’m excited to share with you my conversation with the eminent contemporary artist, portraitist, musician and thinker, @paulbenneystudios. Paul’s artwork spans genres from Neo-Expressionism to Photorealism.

His award-winning paintings are represented in major public collections around the world, including @metmuseum in New York, @nationalgalleryaus, @nationalportraitgallery in London and even The Throne Room of Buckingham Palace. His portraits and contemporary works have been featured across television, radio and documentary programmes on all major international networks, earning him a reputation as one of the most distinguished contemporary artists working today.

Yet his creativity extends far beyond the canvas. A lifelong musician, he has recently written and released an album, Tree of Ghosts, adding another dimension to an already remarkable artistic journey.

This conversation is full of anecdotes, insights, warmth and humour covering the extraordinary life of one of our most talented yet humble creatives today. Not to be missed!

I found this little pot I made in a Limoges porcelain factory 30years ago on EBay. I bought it back.. it was a project that was commissioned by a collector who funded myself and @stephenlacknyc and @cindyshermanlegacyproject @cindyshermancomplete to go make works in Limoges, France. #contemporaryart #paulbenney #contemporaryporcelain #limoges by @paulbenneystudios

‘Vernal Pool’ oil on canvas. This image of rapidly thawing ice on a vernal pool is what I saw every spring out the back of my studio in Massachusetts. It was as though the fairies had begun a misty springtime performance in celebration of the coming summer months.. #spring #vernalpool #fairies #contemporaryart #humanmade by @paulbenneystudios
