We must vote them out! by @paulchristopherhardy
by @paulchristopherhardy
As you probably know, TOMORROW, TUESDAY NOVEMBER 3RD, is Election Day in the United States! It’s too late to mail in your ballot, so in Plumas County, you must return your completed ballot to the ballot drop box or the County Elections Office at the Courthouse in Quincy by 8:00 PM TOMORROW (11/3/26)! I realize that having only one ballot drop off location in a county as large as Plumas County can pose time and travel challenges for many voters. If you need a ride to the Quincy Courthouse to drop off your ballot, I am available ALL DAY on Election Day (7am to 8pm on Nov. 3rd) to give people free rides. No questions asked about who you voted for! Message me here (Facebook or Instagram) or call/text me at 530.258.6607 to request a ride. The towns I’m giving round-trip rides from are: Graeagle, Blairsden, Plumas Eureka, Clio, Cromberg, Sloat, Greenhorn, Quincy, Butterfly Valley, and Meadow Valley. CALL, TEXT, OR MESSAGE ME ASAP TO ARRANGE A RIDE TO DROP OFF YOUR BALLOT IN QUINCY ON ELECTION DAY! YOU MUST GET YOUR COMPLETED BALLOT TO THE COURTHOUSE BY TOMORROW (TUESDAY, 11/3/26) BY 8:00PM! by @paulchristopherhardy

Join Friends of Plumas Wilderness & Plumas Audubon Society on Friday, September 18 for Breaking Down Barriers, the next installment of our 2026 Cultivating Connectivity program series. We’ll begin the morning with wildlife biologist Paul Hardy of Hardy Conservation for a field-based conversation about wildlife connectivity, how fencing can fragment habitat and impede wildlife movement, and what we can do to make our landscapes more permeable. Then, we’ll put that learning into action. We’ll spend the rest of the day learning from Irene & Roger Smith of Friends Aiding Wildlife In Nature (FAWN) as we work to remove obsolete fencing in the Chester Meadows area near Stover Ranch, helping restore safer passage for wildlife in the Upper Feather River watershed. 📅 Friday, September 18 | 9am to approx. 4pm 📍 Meet at: 40.30325, -121.22576 This free volunteer workshop is presented by Friends of Plumas Wilderness and Plumas Audubon Society in partnership with FAWN and Hardy Conservation, on lands protected by Feather River Land Trust. We’re looking for at least 20 volunteers to help us make a meaningful dent in the old fencing, so bring a friend and come prepared to learn, lend a hand, and help make the landscape a little easier for wildlife to navigate. RSVP at the link in bio please! by @paulchristopherhardy
