✨ Celebrating the Girl Child! 💙

As part of the Girls Takeover 2026 initiative with @plan_tanzania , EU Youth Sounding Board Tanzania members @paulsiniga and @kapwanikav joined @vitiglowwith_b ,a young advocate for vitiligo awareness and skin positivity, for a day of learning, exchange and advocacy.

Together, they worked on turning Bianca’s passion into action, helping her develop a clear advocacy roadmap, strengthen her message and shape a concrete proposal to challenge stigma and promote inclusion.

Here’s a glimpse of their day! 🎥 by @paulsiniga

Members of the European Union Youth Sounding Board Tanzania took part in the grand finale of the 2026 Uhuru Torch Race, held at Nelson Mandela Stadium in Sumbawanga District, Rukwa Region, Tanzania.

Members also joined the commemoration of the Day in Memory of the Father of the Nation, the late Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere.

They further participated in the grand finale of National Youth Week.

One of my favourite rooms at the @unitednations is the East Lounge gifted to the UN by Qatar.

Its a peaceful and serene room with a perfect view of the East River.

Pictured above is my interview with @umojawamataifa during CSW 67.

I am reviewing the #UNGA #unga81 with @umojawamataifa this week and what the General Assembly 81 means for young people.
