“The autumn moon is unutterably beautiful. Anyone who thinks the moon is always like that has no concept of difference, and is to be pitied.” — Andrei Tarkovsky, The Diaries (1970–1986). by @paulsng1

2025: a year of change and survival. Mary Angelou once said in an interview: “All my work, my life, everything is about survival. All my work is meant to say, ‘You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated.’ In fact, the encountering may be the very experience which creates the vitality and the power to endure.” On that note, happy new year, friends. Wishing you glorious moments in 2026 and the resilience to get through any uncertainty or devastation. Persevere ✊🏽 by @paulsng1

Congrats to the residents of Cressingham Gardens and Central Hill for saving their estates from demolition. Although toll on their health and wellbeing during the campaigns to save their homes should not be underestimated, their collective efforts show the power in communities organising to oppose estate demolition and social cleansing. by @paulsng1
