hi guys — there have been a few setbacks that we’re currently working through, but rest assured, we still plan on opening this fall! 🤎

in the meantime, we’re planning a few more pop-ups leading up to opening day, and I’m really grateful to be able to continue bringing Pausa to you in little ways until then. we’ve loved collaborating with other local businesses and are excited to keep doing so.

while we work toward opening, I wanted to share a little more about myself and how the things I love brought me here 🤎

men deserve flowers 💐

what an honor it was to be part of such a beautiful event put together by @sintituloshop 💚

a space dedicated to reminding us that men, too, deserve to slow down and make time for themselves and their mental health.

it was incredibly moving to hear people’s stories as we served them and to witness the pace truly slow down inside the beautiful space at @thestudiochicago.

every partner brought something unique to the experience, and we’re so grateful to have been a small part of it 🫶🏽

we have some exciting news…🤍

before we officially open, we want to start creating moments to slow down.

on Saturday, June 13th, we’ll be joining @casitalaluna and @las_damas_de_belmont_cragin for our first pop-up serving our signature matcha ♡🍵

the event celebrates día del niño and we’re honored to be part of such a loving day!

this event is extra special as June 14th marks one year since my dad passed away.

when I first started working on pausa, I told myself it was a non negotiable to host either our grand opening or a special event to honor his life for that date. through God and every single person who has showed up for me, we are making it happen.

celebrating his life through this event means everything.

we can’t wait to meet you all.
we can’t wait for you to meet my parents through pausa.

06.13 • more updates coming soon 🤍
