I am delighted to invite you to an event taking place on Thursday 15th October @watkinsbooks

It is free to attend and at my very favourite book shop- Watkins- just opposite the National Portrait Gallery.

I will be talking about my first book ‘Love’s Secret, A Journey to the Beyond’ and how as fate would have it, my life was turned upside down and inside out by the presence and power of the Beloved.

And how this extraordinary challenge and gift has since become my whole life.

I feel really excited to be able to invite you to a very special weekend adventure in Marrakesh in late November.

This is three nights away to explore in the most special city.

I don’t really have many words to say right now other than the heart is aligned, our Riad for this adventure is just beautiful and the group is already forming.

We have three bedrooms now left in the house.

I don’t know why, but I feel to share some poems from Love’s Secret today.
.
This is a little book, very dear to my heart, created without compromise and published last year.
.
I still don’t feel like I’ve properly spoken about this book or begun to share how much it means to me, how much I cherish it.
.
I never really look at it, having said that, but it will forever be a memory, a stamp of the greatest mystery of all, how love takes you, uses you, recreates you and makes you both whole and incomplete.

Dear all,

I hope that you are well.

I am absolutely delighted to be able to invite you to a six week journey that is taking place online and beginning this evening.

We are meeting for six Sunday evenings from 8-9pm BST via Zoom. Beginning tonight Sunday 4th October and ending on Sunday 8th November.

You will see on the website, that there is no pressure to attend every session and you can have the video on or off. There isn’t any pressure.

It is for the heart to open and the soul to relax.

It is to explore with a group of very special people, sensitive in nature and open to the mysteries of love.

As always with Pause Place, it is just our simple humanness that opens all the doors. That and the grace, magic and meaning of the beyond.

I have kept the price for this low as I know for many, times are hard. If you cannot afford it, reach out to me and let me know. No one turned away for that reason.

The Mysteries of Love begins online this Sunday evening at 8pm London time.

It is six Sunday evenings together on the Zoom and open to all.
.
.
We travelled this journey over the Summer months and it was so meaningful and felt so much in the heart that we decided to continue in to the Autumn.
.
.
You know with Pause Place it is very organic, video on or off, some weeks you can be there some weeks you might not be able to, spacious, deep, magical, mysterious and very very human.

.
You can just be yourself. It really is as simple as that.

For almost twelve years I sat in a small room at Number 1 Harley Street, working as a therapist.

It was the most extraordinary time.

Diligently working with all the theories, methods and techniques I had learnt, looking back now, I can see that it was the quality of presence and attention that made the greatest difference.

To actually see someone is possible when we are doing a lot but it is easier when we let things go.

But as I said, human beings are extraordinary.

What they show on the surface is most definitely not who they are.

In essence, there is wonder, great fear, great imagination, neurosis like you would not imagine, pain, doubt, such great love, compassion, tenderness and sincerity.

It doesn’t really matter who the person is- underneath it all is something miraculous.

I haven’t got enough space here to tell you all the nuances that I would like to. To tell you how it really feels and how it really felt.

I would pinch myself every single day.

When you are awake to another person, there is no time, there is no space, there is simply the creative capacity for new landscape, expanding reality and the heart on fire.

It is magical and beautiful.

It is the story of our being here, woven before your very eyes.

I now have a new room. Nothing could compare to that small room at Number 1 Harley Street but actually, this room is its bedfellow. Equally as magical, as protected, as held in another world. My dear friend and mentor Robert Lewis said to me before my first session when I was about 26- Katie- the room will do the work for you. And it did. And now, twenty years later, this new little room is waiting for us, waiting for the magic to unfold.

Never intended for publication, it ended up in the hands of Sheikh Abdal Hakim Murad/ Dr Timothy Winter @abdalhakimmurad, prominent English Islamic scholar and theologian.

It now sits at @cambridgemuslimcollege and @cambridgecentralmosque but also on the shelves @watkinsbooks
.

I have been invited to give a talk @watkinsbooks on the 11th March 2027 to explore this book, how it came into being and also how the path of love and mysticism lives and breathes in this world in a wholly real and essential way.

My life has been made up of a series of extraordinary stories

Mainly categorised by people, by chance encounters, by incredible generosity.

The part I have played is to be open to it all.
To see and experience the magic.

Mysticism took me straight into a different reality. And I know, I will be spending the rest of this lifetime acclimatising to that.

Psychic powers, living between the worlds, being freed from time and space.

There have been many doubts along the way but I have never doubted how generous life is when we live with an open heart.

It all begins and ends with that.

Just keep the heart open to miracles because they are everywhere to be found.

Everything in its rightful time
Everything in its rightful place
Healing and love
The ongoing questions that we all must ask
Space to feel
It is these things that I live for
The trust that comes

I don’t know where to start or even begin with sharing here online anymore. I have got quieter and quieter. Not in the peaceful sense. All the churning and inner reflection is ongoing but something within is stopped.

I love you. Every single day is in subservience to this path, this life, this love.

I want to tell you that there is a weekend retreat to Morocco happening in November and the Mysteries of Love begins again online a week on Sunday.

And also that on Tuesdays in London I now have a space to meet one to one in person. It is beyond what I could have imagined. Private, quiet, deep, intimate, safe and full of this world and the other.

Reach out in any way you want.

And I hope that the winds of grace allow more sharing soon- because I would truly love that!

It is my wish to follow the Beloveds will but also my wish to share with you.

Thank you for allowing me to do nothing.

The conditions for the heart to open are the Beloveds conditions and it is the greatest gift of all to be part of this unfolding.

It was the last day this work will be taking place in this studio, so as they say, the caravan packs up, the caravan moves on.

Too much to say, too much to share but every time we have gathered there it has been miraculous. I will never understand how lucky, how blessed we have been.
