The Return…. begins now.

Spiced Honey Productions returns home for *one weekend only* this November—and next week, we have a special VIP ticket presale happening for our loyal fans to reserve their seats first.

You already know our avant-garde style, and this year will showcase an elevated extravaganza of cabaret dancers, aerialists, live music, theater, and masks. Our devoted love letter to Appalachia and the beautiful people who live there. An event you simply do not want to miss.

We’re bringing back our well-loved local cast, plus returning performers from 5 different states, PLUS a special guest star✨

Keep an eye out for the VIP presale next week. See you soon🧿 by @paxsea

My flow state: in the air / in a mask / live improvised instrumentals ~

Giant thanks to the musicians: @lclarkecarr on violin, @dalla_drums on drum, @nastassjapretorius on cello

I also have to give credit to @sallees who is my biggest aerial inspiration… whose storytelling and expression combined with raw power has stayed with me since i saw her at Fringe last year. My art is what it is today because of you, so thank you.

my thesis work investigates questions of performance and ritual, identity and non identity, and an anti-authoritarian approach to imagination.

the line between spiritual and profane has always been razor-thin for me. dance is a method for negotiating and, perhaps, mending that split. dancing in masks allows the work to be less about Me and more about Us.

i hope you can make it to the show
